- I lost my arm to cancer, but luckily my mouse has enough buttons to get by. Kinda. I'm still not very good at the setup, but at least I cleared this toughish map. Watch me run like a wuss at the red door. I didn't remember if there were monsters right behind or not.
I probably should've done this vid during the day. And the computer's hum/hiss drowns out the sounds. But anyway.

Just found out he passed away a long time ago after I checked up on the 2013 cacowards. RIP man.

Just got back into DOOM mapping after getting bored of the rise of slaughter back in '02, and I read about Espi passing. A real tragedy. This video shows he was a trooper 'til the end. You will be missed.

I feel your pain man, I had a very large brain tumor removed in the beginning of 08, and for months I had frequent seizures, and can't drive still for a while. I've recovered though, but after finding out about this, and watching this video, and seeing you in good spirits is a great inspiration. Keep on dooming, and of course, get well soon!
A true dedicated Doom fan
Currently archiving the Cacowards and I got to read Espi's story through the doom community. Espi was gone before I had even played my first level of E1M1, but I still play the things he created. RIP Espi your mapping talent has made so many memories.
You were a one of a kind talent and this video proves you persevered until the very end. Rest in peace.

Yeah, the cancer got to him about a year after this video, and he passed away. Very sad.

There's a lot of people who struggle doing E4M1 UV even with two hands, you were more than just a highly talented mapper. RIP

I suck at DOOM and I usually don't play custom WADs but I'll track down "Suspended in Dusk" and play it just to honor this guy. I have no words for what I just saw. I'm very sad that he is not with us anymore.

i can barely play doom on "hey not too rough" on the pc, unless your talking on the ipod touch, then i kick ass.
