    OH YAY!
    WE AGREE ON ONE!
    😮💥💨💫
Yeah when I first read the title of this song I got a chuckle. But having dug into one of the songwriters of this one I am not surprised. He most likely purposely worded the song title a certain way just for a laugh.
    Anyways!
I was laughing the whole through too- not only because of what you said about the song's title (😂😂😂) but also because at one point you did a "country" head bob to the beat that reminded me of "O Brother Where Art Thou" (I don't know if you have seen that movie Seph but it is one of my personal favorite movies & bonus- it features the song "I'll Fly Away" an old Southern song that was one of Elvis's personal favorites as a child, according to Sam Bell, you watched that interview I know).
Anyway from that point on all I could hear was "A Man Of Constant Sorrow".
It just has that same Southern country sound. Soooo country- in the words of The Seph- Holy Caaaarrrppp!!!
Too I gotta add this is like the country version of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" (I'll tell you all about that song when you get there Seph and yes Elvis does cover that song, live performance from 1970 was my first introduction to- I will say- "The Full Elvis Experience". All it took was a 4 minute and something seconds performance to blow my mind, put stars in my eyes, and steal my heart. I triple pinkie swear to you that's how it went down for me 😉)
Alright, alright! Enough of the tickling of the funny bone, gotta get down to business ⚡⚡
"It Ain't No Big Thing (But It's Growing) was written by husband- wife duo Neal Merritt & Alice Joy Merritt & Shorty Hall. (I may include info on them in a separate comment).

Had a wee chuckle at your reaction here Seph - priceless!
This was the first master recorded on 6 June 1970, the third day of Elvis’ Nashville marathon in RCA’s studio B and was released on “Love Letters From Elvis” in June 1971.
It is a song with a decidedly obvious country element and includes some great harmonica playing by Charlie McCoy. This is one of those songs where listening through the takes sees an obvious change in how the song is arranged. The first two takes see an intro featuring purely an acoustic guitar but from take three onwards a piano becomes the prominent instrument heard in the intro.
The ninth and final take was chosen as the master and on 22 June post production on the song began. The first thing to be added was the backing vocal overdubs although there seems to be a bone of contention in this regard. Some sources suggest that the vocal overdubs could have been done on 21 September but on this day The Jordanaires were present but do not appear on the final master. The only songs listed to have been worked on that day were actually “Make The World Go Away”, “Funny How Time Slips Away” and “There Goes My Everything”. This confusion even seems to have reached the management of RCA who credited The Jordanaires for backing vocals on “When I’m Over You” on the back cover of the “Love Letters” album despite only featuring The Nashville Edition!
Post Production at RCA’s studio A which saw the brass and strings added on 30 June before additional strings were added on 28 October 1970 making the song ready for release.

To be fair it wasn't Elvis who thought up the song's title and too I can well imagine Elvis himself having a chuckle over the double entendre in the song's title.
Also: Janetb is right about Elvis himself cutting up during the outtakes and can be heard using rather risque language himself and making jokes that are shall we say at times not for the faint of heart.
In my humble opinion I do not think Seph meant any harm or disrespect to Elvis. He loves Elvis. He honestly does and too I believe him when he says it in his EP reactions.

@Terrymeddings5563 Well you know (as I am sure you do) that all of the songs on the "Love Letters" album were recorded during the Nashville Sessions.
According to what I'd read the "Love Letters" album were a collection of songs that didn't make the final cut for Elvis's country album.
So technically you're right on target with your assessment.
