I can't explain how straight forward and rewarding this video was. Not only are you giving advice on how to succeed in HoTs but the "commandends" the "rules", can also be applied to any multiplayer/competitive game out there. A lot of if is also common sense, and sometimes we need to be reminded of that. Great guide, thanks !
FAX! Even as a GM I learn constantly. It's a patient, well executed, battle. People don't realize the critical nature of landing your abilities and luring or "baiting" people into positions that benefit team mates that don't know.
@@DordiHOTS In all seriousness thank you for making content for this game. It’s so hard to even find decent information on this game especially recently. This is actually one of the more recent videos that came up.

Let me know if you need a teammate… haven’t played since necro came into play… i got upset by brightwing and zeratul and other reworks but now that no more changes are coming I want to get back in but all my friends are gone…
the typing one is a big one, the amount of times there's one toxic person that spends the whole game typing how everyone else on their team is shit or even just trying to tell them how they think they should be playing their characters or the comp differently while simultaneously spending 90% of his game time afk typing is unreal. You never want to be that person, that type of person improves at a snail pace if at all. My advice is that giving advice to people mid game never helps them and never helps you. the only way people improve is by looking at their games afterwards, taking note of what's happening at each time interval and what you did during that time. You might notice after that ok you spent 10 seconds clearing waves when no enemies were visible on the map. Or you were clearing a camp when a team fight was happening near by that needed your assistance. After this you'll notice patterns, like oh mid lane is overextending and is about to get ganked, I should abandon what I'm doing to go save them. Or hey I was late to that objective I need to leave for the objective a few seconds earlier rather than clearing that extra wave. Or conversely maybe that extra wave is important to get if it allows you extra talents for the fight. Maybe you're doing camps too early or late. There's a million and one improvements you can probably make, but you'll never know to make them if you don't carefully analyse your games.
Very good points. People do tend to ruin games by typing and not actually playing, and I agree that watching replays is a great way to improve or just see what went wrong.
Do you have 50 wins in a row on your match history and a 95% win rate? Top 1-5 li-ming player multiple seasons in a row? Are you a master player? I put more than a year and a half straight into the game, it's a huge passion for me. That's why i'm bragging. If you wanna sit around in hour long queues to get grandmaster be my guest. I have played with countless masters and gms and helped at least 10 friends get master/gm. If I sat through the hour long queues I could get grandmaster, in fact it's very simple when you're master to get GM now adays, the pool is a lot smaller. Lastly, I make youtube videos alongside my other work, I need to market myself somehow or I will get no viewers.
True, it can help to mute toxic players. A lot of the people typing are the ones doing bad and blaming others to feel better about their bad performance. It's best to mute the chat in games where people blame others when they're dying. Sometimes negative communication hurts more than it helps. Pings allow you to win anyways.
@@DordiHOTSI just downloaded this game yesterday and decided to play a game. Had someone flaming me saying why I didn't heal them? My brother I'm trying to figure out wtf this champ does and wtf this game is 😂
@@navjotsingh2251 It's pretty mild compared to other mobas, but ye. Mentioning that you are new at the start of the game may surprisingly help. Also be sure to go to shop and buy hero pack, it costs just a few gems, and you get like 10 or 20 heroes? But you can only buy 1 of these packs.
I think I accidentally only changed the volume of one mic channel in streamlabs OBS, my bad. I had to put some headphones on to notice because I was using speakers. :(
With less players, more smurfs and high queue times, ranked is not what it used to be. The activity graphs (heroesprofile.com/Activity/) sometimes help find good times to play. The 6pm to 10pm peak on weekends is huge, the games are a lot better, faster queues and more balanced matchmaking because of the larger player pool.
@@fllf3078 Thanks. I find FPS games to have really bad cheating issues. IMO a highly experienced player practically has maphacks as they can predict exactly where the enemy team is at any given time (on a camp, boss, going for a gank). Realistically, aimbot and wallhacks in a FPS game really give an unfair advantage. Maphacks in a game like HOTS really can't give you much more information than you could already presume yourself. That's why I love the game, it's practically immune to cheating.
@@DordiHOTS agreed I would play modern warfare on Xbox 360 and halo it was fun, extremely hard to cheat, my brother wanted me to play fps on PC I said no thanks I'm not playing with all the cheaters and now everybody has freaky devices to stop gun recoil it's nuts.
