The iphone 13 pro max is way better than the OnePlus. I have a OnePlus pro 8 and I'm thinking to replace it by a OnePlus 10 Pro... I think I will switch to an iphone or maybe the s22 ultra when images will be available
The iPhone definitely has a better camera but looking at the price difference of both the phones, i think OnePlus performed really good except for the red tints in pictures. By the price point there shouldn't even be a competition Between the two but yes a comparison is always good to understand what it offers. I would prefer OnePlus 10 pro as the price is much lower and only slight difference in camera performance.
As you can see once again, having more MP on you camera doesnt mean that its going to take better photos or videos. The Iphone has only 12 MP and the results are awesome, even better than top mobiles with 108MP or 200MP Cameras.
We are using a lot the ultra wide rear camera for videos of vacations, weekends and vlogging, is the most flexible lens. But there are many diferences of quality and sharpeness betwen smartphones Please make a comparison to discover wich one is the best UW for videos

I have been using OnePlus for quite some time in fact it's my 6th OnePlus. And I personally think that day shots and videos are awesome on iphone but night shots are best on OnePlus. I'm astonished to see the results are the other way round here 😁
You are right I am also using OnePlus but the selfie mode sometimes are less good 😂 overall it took amazing pictures and I have took so much good pics with them 🔥🔥 at zero light selfie camera is less effective but the rear camera blows your mind in all aspects 🔥🔥🔥

When iPhone over saturates is no problem, when it darken the photos its no problem, when it over sharpen the photos it's no problem, but a little mistake from OnePlus is loud. You guys should not kill this other brand again please 🙏🙏

It's unfair to compare the phones right now. I still remember when yhe iphone 13 took terrible hdr photos when it first came out. It took months of updates to fix this. I hope you redo the comparison when oneplus is released internationally.
Sure if the software changes I will be happy to revisit the comparison. OnePlus traits are oneplus traits though so I don’t expect huge changes. Let’s hope there is.
Another fantastic comparison. The 10 pro imo needs a lot of proper tuning to match with the Pixels, iPhones, and Samsung. It has become much better but in this comparison, I felt that the 10 Pro was quite not upto the mark especially in low light where it completely destroys the colors with a red cast. I don't know what is happening. Hasselblad tuning isn't doing much but hopefully the global launch will improve the cameras. But, I need to keep my expectations right.

DR on 13 Pro Max is actually a step back from 12 Pro Max. I am not sure why that's the case but I tested both phone extensively back in October and 12 have better highlight and shadows
Well yeah, on the whole, the Iphone takes the cake, yet, the 1+ doesn't lack behind that much, especially taking into account the price range. So, I'd say there's no point in changing my 1+9 pro so far if we talk about cameras.
I think i may be the only one, but i just dont like iphones video, especially when it gets even slightly darker. So much smoothing going on, yuck, also it drops frames sometimes and that HDR is sometimes too much. Also the stabilisation, while very smooth, has warping going around the side, which makes it look artificial. Photos are the same, my 12 pro max dissapoints me more every time i take a photo or video. The quality isnt what its marketed to be, either by reviewers or apple them selves.

Would you like a black video to match the scene ! i would take some noise with a video not a black noise free video !! Iphone is for portraits only imo
the camera can do 4k 120 fps but you only recorded at 1080p 30 fps where as the pro max was recording at 4k 30 this isnt an accurate representation of the oneplus pro
When did iPhone start obliterating the shadows like they do now? I had to get rid of my 13 Pro... I couldn't stand how the shadows came out all crushed. I feel Apple used to do a way better job and lift the shadows. A lot of your photos show what I used to see. To be honest, I always hoped it was just my unit and not all units that had this issue. Doesn't appear to be the case though.
... and I also feel that Apple should have fixed this issue by now. I've experienced this since I got the phone after pre-order. I liked my camera on my 12 Pro better... and that's so disappointing.
OnePlus 10 Pro have better light and colour balance at all, the zoom shots also way better from the OnePlus 10 Pro, I switch to the Chinese phone in this battle

I compared my OnePlus 10 pro with iphone 12 and I found iphone 12 shots better.I think daylight shots are still competitive.

Sharper doesn’t mean always better especially if it is over digital sharpening.
If anything the oneplus oversharpens even more.

Turning off auto hdr will solve this problem. There is an option in the settings.
