The main thing is the admin abuses that made these game dead because when get something u want for grinding hours,day,months the joy is unbeatable For eg: the beanstalk has very low chances of being in stock, so u log in see the shop grind for a bit and leave and the same cycle continues but the admin abuses made the chances way more
as a blox fruits player myself it also consist of many bots that is designed to play the game for days without loging off so thats also one of the reasons why it wont lose playercount

Natural disaster didn't lose player count but in today's standards it's not considered to be popular. Same with the other games you've stated as well, besides MM2. The Strongest Battlegrounds is also pretty popular but it lost a lot of player count still.
