Hahaha, cheers Kenny! This turned out to be such a great video, I was laughing the whole way through. There aren't many people putting this information out there which makes what you're doing extra valuable to those of us that are interested. Keep it up! Can't wait to see what's next. (As a short side note, I have applied for a place in an upcoming pre-apprenticeship course, I hope in the future I'll be able to share my own experiences with you and the rest of the community on here!)..
+Joshua Bavage hey man so glad you enjoyed that! And ABSOLUTELY! Don't be shy, reach out if you have any more questions and definitely keep me updated on this whole pre-apprenticeship I would love to find out how it's going. Congratulations on getting in, and keep me posted!
Barely can hear with that damn music , but anyhow I’m 19 really looking into plumbing for a career . I plan on starting my own business eventually your videos are a big help thanks
Try to locate the septic tank cover , open up see what the tank level is . If it's higher than than the tank inlet than the tank out or drain field isn't accepting anymore water.. or if tank is at normal level machine from tank in to house. Long term install outside clean out. Downside careful of sewer gas.
Hey Kenny I'm 25 and I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia and I am a first year plumbing app I just recently got a job with a company and it is very overwhelming. There is a lot to learn and I don't know if I can learn it all my company does everything rate now we are roughing in a bed and breakfast and there seems like there's a lot going on. I just wanted to know do you think if I stick at it I will ever be a good plumber? Someday I want to start my own business and be successful but it seems so far away
+tru3owned hey thanks for reaching out, and I totally understand what you mean by overwhelming. Look the first couple of years in the apprenticeship are the hardest...even for me, and it makes sense, you are completely new to everything, people are making you run around cleaning, getting coffees and watching a lot, so it's completely normal...I felt the exact same way, and to be honest I hated it a lot at that point. But 100% if you stick with it, I promise you will become as great as you allow yourself to be. So keep your chin up, owning a plumbing company and becoming a good plumber are very achievable goals, so just stick with it. I am a 4th year apprentice now, and only now do I feel waaay more comfortable with my skill...so give yourself time to grow, don't try and rush yourself, brilliance takes its own pace, trust your learning ability....
tru3owned chill , relax & learn your young think about it like this when your 35 you'll be rolling learn as much as you can I mean everything master it be the best if you like it don't quit it takes time but when you reach the top nobody can take it from you . If you go self employed after a few years you'll always be leaving money on the table due to lack of experience if you know what I mean . Good luck
You know what, not sure 🤔 we don’t get a lot of septic tanks where we are at so it was definitely a new experience for us. Thanks for letting us know though, next time it will be something we think about. Cheers!
So cute and smart! Thanks for the awesome video
Awsum stories! Do you have to clean up those sites? Especially after the restaurant owner opened up that up and caused that mess?
No, if we cause the mess we try to clean it up, but it’s usually the shop owners responsibility to clean it.

Hey Jon thanks for the support, sorry about the music, I’ve had the complaint before and am working to make sure future videos don’t have it!
I’ll be trying to go into new construction after this...
12:20 I had the drains on my street backup just like that. If it’s how I understand, water comes backwards through the floor drain right?
Lol yeah that’s exactly right, but don’t let it discourage you, service is not always like this!
Sounds like a face mask or a simple ventilation unit would have helped. It might at least minimize the stink.

Thanks Floyd, dad and I don’t do a lot of septic systems, so I will definitely refer to this! Cheers!
I'm at 4:44 and all I'm thinking is the septic tank needs to be pumped that's it. Let's see what happens

Drain call number 2:
Should have worn a mask and why did you waste an hour a half with a camera in a clogged drain. Clear first, Then camera.
