Love these shoes and you're right...they are very comfortable. I wear mine until the soles are worn out. Haven't used the mink oil...but will now do that along with the two pairs on inserts! Thanks for the tip!
If you ever get a chance, give Obenauf's LP a try. Smells better, lasts longer and seems to preserve leather better than mink oil. I've got some Russell Moccasins that are now over 20 years old.
i had a par of shoows like that i youst thim win i go stone hunting in streems and creeks and meenk oil i yousd on them a week beffor i go and ide cleen them and pout oil on them afterwords to they lastid for 4 years.they ar a great shoow worth the cost as well cost of the care fore them.

Get ped socks. I use them for my boat shoes and they work great. Won't stink them up. Great video George.

Sperry Gold cups never get stinky. I use them year round in Florida with no socks. Maybe because these are lined with lamb skin. Worth every penny.
I go through a pair of shoes in 3-6 month, I care for them but the outer sole has a hole in within that time and they have to go

Would this advice you are giving also work for a leather pipe pouch made my Castleford? I was told to olive oil it, but why not mink oil as well?
