This is our 3rd trip back to De Anza flea market after they re-opened, and it's our best one yet! We make a new record for best sales day there yet. Although it's a long day, and we're tired by the end of it, it was certainly worth it! This is how we grind it out and make some money.

I come here for the fun finds and relaxing "shopping" to wind down at night, but I stay for Camille. She is everything. Love her scrappiness, work ethic and spicy personality!

Thanks! I should have done it a long time ago. We used to print postcards and business cards in my prior business, so I don't know where the resistance was coming from. Maybe because I don't like to be reminded of my old business perhaps.
Hopefully should get more people to look at the auctions too. Great idea 👍🏻
Always fun to see your fans stop by to say hi. You do an excellent job sorting through your stuff! I have a suggestion for testing electrical items. Get a Jackery or something like it. That way you can test right there at your table.

Your kids will remember these times later in life, my son went with me when i used to sell at our local flea market and he still talks at those times 15 years later.
The information that crochet lady said about Etsy is totally incorrect. Etsy does not have control of your shop and only you decide sales. Etsy is awesome . Your videos are great too thank you!
Great sale!! My husband was an A-class machinist. That guy got a hecka deal on the machinist box!!! 👍🏼❤️
I think so too. The box alone is worth at least $250
@@LockerNuts definitely. And machinist tools don’t come cheap. You had 1000. There easy, but a real machinist would have to stumble on it. You did good.
My mom has my dads and her dads machinist tools. I will have to check to see if they are in boxes.
Love the flea market videos. We used to do that, and we loved it. Too old now to do them.

In the US you can have a tax right-off if you Register your Kids as employees. It also applies to your kids life time tax contribution. Look it up.
Seems like a lot of nice folks at this market. As mentioned by others, have a portable power source to check your electrical goods - I'm sure you'll sell stuff faster that way.
Cause it's in cupertino. If you go to San jose the vendors and customers are rude AF. It's crazy how rude they are.

You do an amazing job of keeping up with all the bartering and stay so nice when folks try to talk you down. I enjoy all your videos and finding treasures with you.
I might suggest an adapter for your truck to test electronics in the future.

Ha about your girl's enthusiasm. My parents had apartment buildings and I had to scrub/mop the landings/stairs and also clean up the laundry room. I was actually rather privileged in other ways, so a little elbow grease one afternoon a week was a good thing.

I just make it up on the spot. After doing this for awhile, you kinda get a feel for about how much something should cost. But I mostly don't have prices in mind when we go to the market. And if it doesn't sell, the price goes down the later in the day it gets, LOL.

Great job. I sell at flea markets too and I find that whatever it is people tend to touch everything. And they also have the need to open trunks or closed items.

You should! It only takes us a half hour or so to get there, so it would be maybe an hour at the most for you, and probably 50 minutes. It's a fun market; nice people, good traffic and deep pockets.

As a grandma, I can get up earlier, much easier now than I ever could as a teen. But as a teen, I could work a lot harder & a lot longer than I can now.☺Different age, different priorities---but making geat memories for the girls!

Hello from Wisconsin. @Locker Nuts your daughter is so funny. She should be glad getting min wage there. Here in Wisconsin is $7.25. Lol. We've seen both your girls work really hard and people tend to forget the camera isn't always on them when you all are loading, unloading and setting up. You need a standing display with your RUclips name and the days of your auctions visible for all to see or a magnetic one on the van.
Good idea! I've printed up some magnetic signs before, for a side business. They are surprisingly affordable.
Jack! That stove top iron is for making Norwegian krumkake. We make it every year at Christmas time :0)
The girls should be hustling their clothes and straightening out the tables if they want to make money. Sitting on a chair doesn't sell your goods. Jack and Janna are great sales people and that is why you are doing so well. Loved watching all the nice people and how you politely interact with everyone. This is why I watch your channel faithfully.
Thanks Annette! I agree, and hope at some point the girls start to really understand how to contribute more. We are a team, after all. They've grown a tremendous amount in regards to helping set up and pack up, but the in between definitely has room for improvement. They'll get there... I have faith in them.

Jack..I know you a very honest guy...At 31:34 ... you gave a price of $7 for the ash-tray..... and then behind you gave a price of $9 for the records.... The one who purchased the $7 item.. you only gave him $11 from a $20...just a simple error as you were very busy..
