    I love how you try to link formal words to slangs and how they are derived from the former. Thank you so much! Please create more of such content! I am learning a lot today

    That's a new way of teaching i like it ❤
    The fact that i only hear little syllables when the actors speak but in reality it's a long complex sentence that's been said
    I still have a looooong way to go thanks for your help

    I can't believe it's been two years since this video came out. I literally learned some of my first Thai words from your videos, and now I can (mostly) read it, and I knew almost every word in this conversation! I still have so much to learn, but It's really exciting to see how much I have learned so far. Thank you for making your videos. Watching Thai dramas is one of my favorite things, and every bit of language I learn helps me to appreciate and enjoy them more. Bad Buddy will always be special to me because it's the first Thai drama I ever saw. And I will always appreciate your teaching.

    Wooooow. The shortening from formal Thai to colloquial language blows my mind. How did I not think of this connection? Thanks, Teacher!

    Thank you for teaching thai language with bad buddy series. They have lots of slang.
    In eps 03 part 4 when pran asked pat "have you eaten yet" I can't hear gin in his sentences or perhaps I misheard.
    I really want to learn thai

      i think it would be "daek" means "eat" in impolite.

    Golly! For one to master Thai, one has to build vocabulary then start listening hard for them. What I love about Thai is how 2 words put together can mean another thing but still quite similar from their base words. Just now, I learned a new word “tum dtua” and I understood what it meant by knowing beforehand the meaning of “tum” and “dtua”. Amazing language ,Thai. Thanks for this! With every video I learn 1-2 new words.

    Hi Ma I would like to ask what does p men in Thai language because most of the time when I'm watching Thai series I always hear the word be whenever they call someone's name like when someone's name is med they will say P-Med it sounds so cool isn't p stand for brother?

    • @nookofley8071
      @nookofley8071 2 года назад +1

      thai people use phi to address anyone who is older/senior than themselves. phi can be used to adress both males and females. To address someone younger than you, you can use 'nong'

    ก่อนอื่น ชอบซีรีส์เรื่องนี้สุดๆไปเลย ก็เลยพอครูใช้มันสอนภาษาไทยให้พวกเรา รู้สึกแบบได้เข้าใจง่ายขึ้น
    คำใหม่ที่ผมเพิ่งรู้ก็คือ วาร์บ หมาหงอย
    ว่าแต่คำว่า หมาหงอย คือคำสุภาพรึเปล่าครับ
    อดใจไม่ไหวที่จะดูวีดีโอต่อๆไปนะค้าบผม 🤗🙏🏻

    • @letslearnthai
      @letslearnthai  2 года назад +1

      หมาหงอย เป็นภาษาพูดที่ก็ไม่เชิงว่าสุภาพแต่ก็ไม่ได้หยาบคายค่ะ 😂 ใช้ได้ทั่วไป เป็นคำแสลง ถ้าไม่ใช่ในสถานการณ์ที่ต้อง formal ก็ใช้ได้ทั่วไปเลยค่ะ อับดุลลอง googe image รูป ใช้คำว่า หมาหงอย ดูค่ะ จะเข้าใจ สีหน้า และ feeling ยิ่งขึ้น คือมันก็แอบมีความน่ารักในความเศร้า 555
