Her reaction to not just the animations, but also the cgs throughout the story are great. Like when she found out about Welt and had to open up his HSR CG just to go see Einstein and Tesla, and wondering how she never noticed it b4
Bruh, Chigusa is so darn endearing when it comes to the Story. She really tries her best to understand it as much as she can and even go as far as whipping a notepad mid gameplay to type down all the details and information she can think of so she won't forget then put it out if she needs a refresher like who's Theresa again lol
@@lllppeverywhere its refreshing to see ppl actually pay attention to the story and charas. The last 2 new ppl i saw actually react to anything HI3rd related were asmon and pokke, neither of which really read so obviously they got no clue. Asmon was sponsored but u can tell he dont give af, he isnt the target audience. Hoyo really screwed up picking who to sponsor on that one, he's kinda known for not caring. Pokke just shuts off which is kinda frustrating imo. U can't really say ur a fan of a verse unless ur at least willing to go and find out more about it, especially since HI3rd shares rhe universe and explores the cosmology the most.
@@garethcf1016 yeah man. Most who goes for HI3rd are just there for views, especially the CG reactors and it's honestly really sad, they didn't even play the game, just watched the CG with no context then they start asking what's happening. The initiation of being a Honkai Impact 3rd Captain we all went through, and still have it's wounds scarred onto our hearts. You aren't a true HI3rd Captain till you experience the trauma of "Final Lesson". Star Rail players that came from Genshin are going to feel our pain as Captains, the day Himeko dies in Star Rail, as regardless of the Honkai universe, if Himeko exists, she WILL die at some point. That's what has been the track record of MiHoYo games, Himeko never lives long enough to not die before the conclusion. And before anyone reading this brings up Captainverse Himeko, she remembers dying. Her death only got undone far later in Captainverse. She may have been alive to see the Captainverse storyline conclusion, but she DID die before, according to her own memories. The fact Star Rail's Himeko dreams about her HI3rd counterpart's life, gave me death flags. Welt better be ready to save her, otherwise, that's a second Himeko he could not save
Thanks for covering the reaction! Chigusa doesn't seem to react a lot during the initial watch of the cutscenes due to being too wowed but is very expressive elsewhere, so cutting out the less responsive bits and showing the second watch to show more of the surrounding reactions is a good choice. She's been really tearing through the story recently - I like how she's started up the Anti-Entropy visual novel to get more Einstein and Welt knowledge.
I just want put this out there. Chigusa is one of those rare people that really invested in the game. Merely for the fact she made a notepad while playing the game. It also refreshing to see how she's the very few people that appreciate and enjoy the early chapters of story.
It's a pretty good decision to chop up the first watch and show/translate the rewatch where Chigusa took in all the details. It's extra effort and makes for a more well rounded video without any wasted time on parts where she wasn't saying much due to being overwhelmed.
I like it this way. Because there is a lot of talking in future CG, I don't want the streamer to talk over it or cut off mid way to watch. So watch it first time, get all the thoughts and comment in mind. And let it all out on the second watch.
Now she understands why if we could enforce our will in Trailblazer's decision ingame, we'd insist Himeko to just stay on the Astral Express - where she'd be safe.
Thanks for the translation. I've been following along with Chigusa, but I'm missing a bunch since I don't understand more than a few random words of JP. Didn't realize she had pegged what would happen with Kiana right at the end of this, heh, already worrying about Kiana's guilt and mental state. I do wonder what she had to say when she kept looking back at at the 11-EX ending.
I love how Chigusa is catching some details many streamers dont notice unless the chat tells them, its one of the streamers that enjoy the lore and is taking notes of some important statements or information and really helps her to mantain her memories fresh even if she dont play the game for some time, plus her reactions are funny and cute
I am VERY interested in Chigusa's HI3rd journey. Question @Ollyt_ , did she say anything about reading HI3rd mangas on stream? If so, translating her reactions to some of the parts would be okay or would that be too much to ask of you?
she did read azure waters before entering ch 10 but didn't show it on the screen. she said she has to ask her manager if she wants to show it on screen. hope she gets the permission and read the 2nd eruption we'll see
Even so long after me experiencing "Final Lesson" for the first time, this scene still makes me cry. And I'm someone who did not care about Himeko before Final Lesson. THIS is why main story part 1 of HI3rd has FAR better story writing than Genshin ever did. I tried to stick through the entirety of the Sumeru arc of Genshin, even after giving the game a second chance, but Genshin was so boring for me in writing that I quit Genshin for good, I was too bored playing till partway into the Sumeru arc of Genshin, I could not bring myself to complete it, too boring. Yet HI3rd, gave me several emotional moments to bring me to tears, getting attached to the characters. Shame Part 2 did not give me the same feels
@@zigazav1 dont worry i just memeing her past clip where she suddenly changing mood when the viewer tell her to stop crying lol, yea i also still shed a tears when watching chapter 9 knowing that himeko will never come back again T_T also you need to let part 2 cook enough to get you feel something, songque past and her determination manage to makes me shed a little tears

I hope you keep translating these, it's great to see someone so invested into it.
Me: There's no subtitles for Japanese vtuber that play honkai impact :(
Oll yt: don't worry, i got you bro
Sadly that's just the beginning, to be a true captain she must reach Chapter 25
Wellcome Captain
damn im so sad i dont understand jp....i would watch her play honkai every single stream...she seems so fun to watch
For real, I watched the other video of her reacting to welt and gosh I wish I learned Japanese beyond just some words
at least we have himeko at star rail (for now)
imagine if she read second eruption too...
Story feels so different when you read the 2nd Eruption, it adds much more emotional damage
After so long, knowing how everything ended and even when I'm not even playing the game anymore... shit still hurts :^(
soo... still no one tell her about Himeko broken sword at HSR Herta Spaceship till now?
Also, welcome to HI3, Captain Chigusa
really appreciated the JoJo's reference (oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora)

Since Finana get a pass to read the whole thing on stream there's a chance that she also can get a pass if she asked
pro tip you don't need to cut the cinamatics hoyo doesn't care

It's okay. We've seen all and how the cinematics go. This is to clip their reactions, not the cinematic.
Another victim I see, look like I find another person to see their journey though this game.
why the final lesson kinda got cut here and there?
edit: nvm, it was only at the first react. the rewatch was full cutscene
as she said, she'd keep silent every time she watched the anime for the first time
