- The trio focuses on the Classical masterpieces and its repertoire includes works such as Beethoven's opus 9 II and Schubert's opus D471, among others.

Cello- Isabel Vaz
It was the common love for chamber music that brought the Espiga Trio together. Maria Sofia Espiga (viola, Portugal) Isabel Vaz (cello, Portugal) and Amarins Wierdsma (violin, Netherlands) met during their studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and play together since 2010. In 2011 the group was invited to play at Radio4 in a live cast of young talents.

I find that Schubert takes a step back in terms of music development. This trio is heavily Mozart/18th century inspired however, I feel there's something quite fresh about his style that makes it considerably different too. Great performance

Wonderful. Thanks for putting this up. I transposed the viola part to clarinet (viola's are always difficult to find), it worked very well. Nicely done, loved it.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I'm playing this for my chamber group @ my youth symphony orchestra. I recently got this so it's a bit hard, but I'm getting this!
(my orchestra is a bit scary since I'm the youngest, 11)
Nice performance! But the positioning in the video and in the sound track are reversed, which is confusing..
