You will get to work most of your life to barely afford to do the things you want, and when you finally have saved enough money to do what you want, you will be to old to enjoy it. Much like I used to try and do as much as I could with friends throughout the week, but that steadily tapers off as you get older, you end up only seeing people on the weekends, and if you didn't "do nothing except drink beer," you would not get to see the people you care about at all. We all looked at the generation before us and said we could do it better, or "right." Then you live life as being nothing more than a number/cog in the machine for a couple of years and realize why we all lack ambition. Regardless of my entirely accurate cynicism, I hope the best of luck for you in all of your endeavors.

Being an adult sucks. Life is all about satisfying obligations; work, friends, and family. You will get to work most of your life to barely afford to do the things you want, and when you finally have saved enough money to do what you want, you will be to old to enjoy it. Much like I used to try and do as much as I could with friends throughout the week, but that steadily tapers off as you get older, you end up only seeing people on the weekends, and if you didn't "do nothing except drink beer," you would not get to see the people you care about at all.
We all looked at the generation before us and said we could do it better, or "right." Then you live life as being nothing more than a number/cog in the machine for a couple of years and realize why we all lack ambition.
Regardless of my entirely accurate cynicism, I hope the best of luck for you in all of your endeavors.
