Btw, I had the same audio cackling issue with my elgato when I first got it. The usb from the pc-elgato has to be plugged directly into the motherboard (back of the pc) for some reason and not on one of the front ports. That fixed the audio cackling sound for me. IK they fixed it, but if anyone runs into the same issue, I hope this helps.
