How i wish i read all this comments. It says turn off but keep reading the room temp(not needed).. just a couple days from buying, now the battery is almost out. Grrrr!!!
Same with our one absolute garbage
It's hopeless, not fit for purpose. Despite changing the batteries it still doesn't work at all. It isn't cheap, complete waste of money.
yes, don't buy it. i had to to replace the battery 5 times already and only used it a handful of times and because the battery cover is a screw on, it's not easy to remove the battery.

You can't turn off the device as refer to your video minutes 1:16. The device will turn back on to measure room temperature. Battery depleted and useless !!!
I'm sick of changing the battery on this stupid device. The time I really needed it, it's flat because it's been doing the unwanted room temp reading. I'm throwing it after this comment. Its so dumb. And I don't think you understand what TURN OFF actually meant.

the room temp is STUPID .... we were happy when we get it but did not know of this feature .. every fucking single timer we need to actuary use it ... its is low on battery .... STUPID STUPID ... i would not reccomend anyone to buy this unless they wanna use a cr2032 every time they need to take a temprature.
had to lave backcover off and remove the battery every time we are done using it.

Battery eater, don’t buy 👎
Worst item to be invented. The performance is worst than other no brands. To get a second reading you need to wait for minutes. Yes minutes do nothing to wait for the 1st reading gone, if not it keep show memory or low or error. Don’t buy it and throw it to their outlet or office for those bought it.
