I honestly didn't remember all of them, but I remember loving to see Atari-related commercials on TV as a kid. I would get excited to see the game at the local electronics store after seeing them on TV. I miss those days!
I have Activision Decathlon, Chopper Command (With Instructions), Freeway, Ice Hockey, Laser Blast, Megamania, Pitfall, River Raid, Skiing (With Box, Instructions and “Six Great Ones 1981” Pamphlet), Stampede, Starmaster and Tennis (With Box and Instructions). I got Patch Scores for every one of those mentioned games except for Starmaster (I only got 2 of 4 so far).
@@RetroBlissGaming Well, I played them in 2021. Meaning nowadays, getting a patch from them would be impossible. But it would be a delight if they brought the patches back. I need to write a letter to Activision asking them to bring the patches back and send them the pics of the patch scores I have.
I did not realize Activision had so many Atari 2600 game commercials. The Pitfall commercials seem familiar. Thankful Nintendo released the Entertainment System in the mid 80s!
You know it!! One turd was Freeway… not really a big fan, but for the most part I really loved Activision games. You knew you were getting a good game! 😁🕹️
I don’t remember these commercials that much from” back in the day”. Great to see them now

Jack Black as a kid promoting pitfall is awesome.
Ironic, that he was in the new Mario movie too. He circled back around!

Man, those were the days! You have a lot of patches, which means you've played a lot of 2600 games!! Well done!

@@RetroBlissGamingUpdate: I got all the patch scores for Starmaster.
14:16 LOL!!! This must be the most hilarious video game commercial ever made! :D
Classic!!
15:43 Activision promo reel featuring the theme song from CBC's "The Journal".
Not familiar with that theme song, but I'll have to check that out! Thanks for sharing!
@@RetroBlissGaming Well, actually, SCTV's take on "The Journal"

Yeah, I was surprised as I did my research on them. Nintendo basically revitalized the home video game industry with the NES.
That long advertisement towards the end had to be a spoof. I was laughing my butt off!
Yeah, that was pretty hilarious... :0)
Activision made most of my favorite games on the 2600.
They were known to make better quality games for the most part, back in those days!
Kiki's delivery service and tailspin actor Phil Hartman
Classic!!!
Cobra rattlers?
Say what?!?! 😁🕹️
@ Right…no such thing….but the commercial….
@@SofaKingQuick 😉
Was that Jack Black as a kid!?
Yes, that was his first acting job...
Activision made the best games for Atari 2600!
