Right on been followers BBS for years saw them in Tempe AZ in 18. Theses guys as a whole ROCK from country to cover songs. Can’t wait to see them again. 😊 Charlie is one of the best no ego just a down to earth musician.
Have seen BBS multiple times. After each show I walk away saying “That’s the best damn live band I’ve ever seen.”

Killer. Someone said BBS is the best American band since Lynyrd Skynyrd and I have to agree. Charlies guitar tone is always so badass. Have several of their albums and The Whippoorwill is my favorite.
Hall is the most talented musician of the last 50 years. Hands down.
Agree and let's not miss saying that his VOCALS are sublime!
No disrespect to Daryl Hall, but I think Todd Rundgren might have the edge on that, he is an absolutely phenomenal musician, on several instruments, as well as producing his own material. I think Mr Hall might agree too.

@@lolodee3528 absolutely no disrespected intended. I grew up with Hall & Oates. They belted out some of my favorite tunes. Sarah Smile, is one of my absolute favorites. I would love to be as talented as any one of the three. Hall, Oats, or Rundgren.

I've been a long time fan of Hall & Oates, but oddly enough, I am a huge fan of Blackberry Smoke. I had the fortune, to meet Charlie and the rest of the band at one of the concerts they did close to me here where I live. All of these guys are fantastic musicians, but they are far better people.
I had a chance to talk to them one-on-one, during a meet and greet after the concert. Which by the way, they donate all proceeds from these meetings, to the Atlanta children's hospital. Not too shabby huh?
But honestly some of the best musical advice that I got, was from Charlie Starr. I had some questions regarding performance fright, and kind of went into what I was doing. Henceforth the sunglasses on my face. That advice that Charlie gave me was very simple, but it reminded me that sometimes the answer lies right in front of our face, and in this case literally. Those simple words, "go with what you know".
I'm glad that these two got together, I was a little skeptical about how it might sound, knowing that their styles are different, but I thought they pulled it off rather well.
Keep rocking, and made the good Lord keep you all.
I got to meet Charlie & the band after an awesome acoustic show in Lexington!! Seen them a bunch of times and love them live!!!

Yeah, Charlie's a hell of a guy, on and off stage. I don't know if you've ever had a chance to see blackberry smoke in concert, but if you have and it sounds like you may have, then do it. In my opinion, they are very true to their sound. Meaning, if you listen to them on the stage, or on an album, you hear the same exact music. These guys are really, really good.

As an 80s kid who listened to her Mamas Hall and Oates albums( my mama loved Daryl and I can see why Meow 😂 ) to now being a mom of four teens…who’s youngest at 15 is a HUGE Fan of yours ❤She messages me every Thursday to play Out of touch. ❤ The younger generations are falling in love with you again ! This was incredible
