I have noticed an error in your educational and informative video. All three numbers must match in a bridge, not just the one side. Please fix so we don't further dilute the rules of this wonderful game. Thank you. Tri-masteromino
Is there negative scoring? My partner and I were trying to play and he immediately drew from the well and picked up 8. He didn’t have a score yet ? So is that -40 ?
When I draw from the well, do I continue to draw until I have a match to play? Do the tiles drawn go into my rack after I have deducted the 5 pts for each tile drawn?
Yes, you keep drawing until you can play and when your turn is over we usually use the extra racks to stack them in. If the well runs dry and you still cannot play, your turn ends and you take all 5 point penalties and it is the next player's turn, but the board can still change and you may be able to play on a subsequent turn.
I thought you draw once and deduct the 5 points and if it can play then play it. If it can not play then you deduct 10 points and then the next player goes. Not sure but that's what I was told.
Can a bridge just be 2 points touching or does it have to be all 3 numbers matching other numbers? Or can you do that and just not get the points since not all 3 #'s on the tile are matched up?

Thank you for the video, my friend lost the instructions and are grateful for the explaination. Many thanks!

The topic of bridges literally started a fight at the dinner table tonight 😂 "partial bridges"
Can you play the tiles anywhere as opposed to dominoes where you only play on the ends?
You can play anywhere that all the numbers match.
Thank you. Yours was the most helpful.
Thanks! This was very helpful.
Thanks a lot, you helped us well

Hello, I believe the answer is yes to both questions!

I found the scoring weird.
Trying it out I had one player with hundreds of points and another in minus! Seems to intensify the luck of Doms.

Why do the tiles have metal centers?
The very last move in this video is illegal because the one can’t be matched up against a three.
I like this video expect for the explanation of a 'bridge". Wish it was accurate and more complete.
Thanks 😊👍
You're welcome!
Original rules state 2 sides must match, but what about the opposite point? Wish there were more illustrations of various situations.
Hello, I apologize I did misspeak on the bridge explanation. I've made an updated video and loaded it to the channel with a correct explanation.
My rules don't mention 9 tile start for 2 players.
It is 9 tiles for 2 players to start the game
The rules from my new game states 9 tiles for two players and 7 tiles for 3 to 4 players.
