The real problem is that the most of the Amway's I.B.O.s don't even know what they have in their hands. This is a real and some of the biggest opportunities that you will find in your lifetime. Even if you don't invite anyone, you are saving a lot of money with their products. Just compare the prices of laundry detergent commercial leading brand with ours, and you will save around 70%, and our quality is well above it. You were an i.b.o. and never realized it ? I can understand your frustration, but don't blame Amway for your lack of knowledge about the treasure you had in your hands and wasted it.

Right to be in a newtwork. A $62 registration fee , which no body makes any money on. Then and only when person buys products, sells product does profit get generated. MY job has a CEO at the top, one person, and 8 layers of mgt to me. I can barely keep my job. and make them $12K to $120K a month in profits and they pay me about $3K to $15K. Look how much money is made through tuition and book as opposed to people graduating and making money at a job. What is the student loan debt right now??? If it is that bad how is it allowed to operate??? steveh777ify obviously does not understand the concept of business ownership whether it be Amway, any other MLM or other more traditional business. Business owners are not employees and they pay themselves from their own profits gained from their own efforts. How they earn that money depends on how they treat their clients and staff. Treat em good you get more from them. Treat em bad - they leave. Simple really.

Amway makes products. The downlines are fun independently. In the downlines, anyone can go past his sponsor and get bigger than the top person in that line. If my Crown is 30 wide. I can sponsor 40 or 50 wide. No one will make more money on my legs than me. So if I go 50 wide, then make a lot more than someone in my upline who only is 6 wide or 12 or 18 wide.

"As I later discovered, I was then functioning with a high level of what
psychologists call cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is a method in which your
mind works to resolve an internal conflict that arises, concerning what you perceive to be
true when you are faced with information or situations that contradict this perception. It is
unnatural for us to consciously and knowingly retain an illogical belief. Our subconscious
mind has two choices when faced with information that challenges a belief set or
paradigm that we embrace. If the information is not too threatening to our global beliefs,
we can accept this information and use it as a foundation for a new belief.
When this does not happen, and the information strongly contradicts a core belief,
cognitive dissonance comes into play, as the mind attempts to resolve the internal conflict
between the new information and a contradicting belief set"

After almost 45 days without listening to any tapes, I began to see more clearly.
We clasped hands on stage, and Keith’s wife led us in singing “God Bless America.” I
looked out at the beautiful people in the audience, knowing how I had promised to help
them build a better life. They smiled and swayed gently, as we all sang. Some had hope
in their eyes and others had tears of joy, in knowing they had now found a way to a better
life. I glanced over my shoulder at the well-dressed group of leaders, whose lives were in
tatters. I now saw the truth but could not yet understand how the average net income for
the Emeralds, the Rubys, the Profit Sharing and Silver Direct distributors in this
organization was more accurately near $3,000 a year, and that was after all the system
    expenses.
I felt sick. I was totally, completely burdened with the crushing weight of all their
crumbling lives. I looked into the audience and saw many good friends that Kathy and I
loved. They joined this business and its related system for success, because they
completely trusted us. I had tied them (and their children) firmly on the train tracks, and
now I could hear the rumble of the train!

Agreed. This is what I've found. When people suck at Amway, they pretty much suck at everything else. If they can't build Amway, its only a symptom of a greater failing. Take your prospects, most have failed or are failing, but if they'd be humble, READ BOOKS, listen to CD's of succesful people, eventually they'll discover that a whole new person has emerged. More capable and less whiny, a better husband/wife, finally succeeding in life and in relationships. Someone that one can be proud of.
