Thank you so much for finding and interviewing the mother of all travel vloggers, Ellen Nishiumi!!! ❤❤❤ She didn't age!!! I love how comprehensive this interview is, na-solve na Yung mga mysteries and questions I had surrounding the show na hindi ko mahalughog sa Google hehe.
That's my childhood idol. Nandito kaming Batang 90s to support you! Thank you for featuring Tita Ellen! This is a gem!
Of course andito pa kami!!!! 😊😊😊 I fell in love with Japan because of Oh Tokyo. ❤❤❤ IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU AGAIN MS. ELEONOR NISHIUMI. 😊
I was a big fan watching her shows. It inspired a lot of us to live the Japanese dream. Mabuhay ka, Ellen. Sana makita kita this month habang naglalakad sa Tokyo. 😊
Wow! Oh Tokyo made me love Japan! Its one of 2 countries that I wish going to. It made me also feel proud that a Filipina is hosting the show. Ms. Ellen is so fun to watch and very relatable although she's introducing another country. Nice!
Finding Ellen-san is worth it. At a time when most Filipinos now are fixated towards Korea and its culture, having this interview will wake up most Filipinos to the fact that they were once Japanatics before becoming the Koreanatics that they are now.
Glad I chanced upon this vlog! Oh, Tokyo! piqued my interest in visiting Japan since I was a kid. Gustung gusto ko yun always nya kino-convert yun JPY prices to PHP during her episodes. Hoping we could go back to Tokyo for a visit next year. 🇯🇵
Awwww i love her.
Still a fan! When we went to Tokyo a couple of years ago, I watched an episode of Oh Tokyo and discovered cool places to visit during our stay. Ms. Ellen is such a legend!
Omg.. this is nostalgia ☺️ I remember my grade school days and I used to watch Oh tokyo because ang galing mag Japanese ni ms. Ellen and I love her attitude. 🤗 she’s always down to try different things in Tokyo. 🙏 bless her heart!
Wow how nostalgic! I’m also a fan of oh Tokyo bec of ms Ellen☺️ I believe that show slowly led me to being a japanophile😁 So cool you got to interview her👍🏼 Thanks for sharing. You take care😊
I think the director she’s referring to is the owner of WINS TV where Oh Tokyo! is being aired on cable TV. I heard it from Mari Mayang Nihei when I came to Tokyo in 2015. She’s also well known in the Pinoy community in Tokyo.
Chanced upon this vlog and really appreciate this feature. Really brought back memories of early 2000s. Hoping Ms Ellen pursues vlogging and I’m sure it’ll be hit. Does she have any socials that we can follow perhaps?❤

Oh! Tokyo Ramen Museum Episode❤
Woooooo!
The popularity of Oh Tokyo was simultaneous with that of Japan Video Topics being broadcasted by IBC 13 and RPN9.
Which is actually a production of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Thank you Betty Boop!

She was vlogging before the term vlogging was invented
