"Open All Night" is a surprisingly interesting track. I was at an 'acres-sky' at whistler when a 'dude' stood up and sang "Open All Night" acapella. Maybe a drink too much? But here is the deal... He knocked it out of the park. Proving for me what a great song that really is.

I really appreciated this. I love this album of his. I put this on late at night with Johnny Walker Black on the rocks. It's so raw and stark. A very thoughtful look at this album. Thank You

How come do you have so little views... Great, insightful review.

Every time someone mentions this album, it reminds me of the funniest line I have ever read in a review. New York Magazine critic Bill Wyman wrote (when he worked for the Chicago Reader) of The Ghost of Tom Joad: "It makes Nebraska look like James Brown Live at the Apollo."

Unfortunately this album got kicked into touch by many people who claim to be his 'greatest fan's'
Bruce never toured with Nebraska and with the stadium e street tours ramping up it's it was probably a good call. This is an album i always come back to when I'm on my own. It's dark and hauntingly themed lyrics are without a doubt some of his best work. It just wouldn't be Bruce without it.
