    Hey, this is by far my favourite SnG videos since the podcast's inception. I recently graduated with a Master's of Science from the University of Florida (UF). Regarding the LIGO experiment Rohan mentioned, the optics components, along with the data analysis, sensing and control aspects of the LIGO detector also involve my university as one of the members overseeing it, which is called the LIGO Scientific Collaboration. Yes, I totally feel and loved the point about how fundamental sciences should be pursued far more than applied sciences. Also, yes, I too am a huge fan of Carl Sagan, Neil DeGrass Tyson, Michio Kaku, Douglas Adams, VSauce, and several others you mentioned. Loved it. Can't wait for Part 2!

    All those people saying this was the best SNG podcast because it was so educational, there is no way you guys have been with SNG from the start 😂😂😂 This is their forte!

    • @s4ge941
      @s4ge941 6 лет назад +11

      Annie I think you are the only person to say that you want to sit with Manmohan Singh, because people (leman public) don't understand the contribution of that man in the economy of our nation, particularly in LGP policy in 1991, due to the bad mouthing and negative publicity done by BJP. I'm really impressed by your choice of people, I just don't agree with om puri, for me Amrish Puri was wayyyyy cooler

    • @binnyarora1219
      @binnyarora1219 6 лет назад +4

      +1 for manmohan singh

    • @anilatarannum
      @anilatarannum 6 лет назад +2

      S4GE I love Amrish Puri too, but Om Puri's body of work alongwith his almost courageous political opinions would make for a great conversation. A beer with Amrish Puri would be kickass too though, you're right.
      As for Manmohan Singh, I think few people are as intelligent as that man. He was not the right Prime Minister, but he served the party and thus the country by being the choice that all in the alliance would agree to, but his intelligence is unparalleled. All his criticisms and forecasts about the current policies of the govt are coming true.

    • @saurabhparihar8503
      @saurabhparihar8503 6 лет назад +1

      S4GE no other option left for India at that point Narsimha Rao has more say in liberalisation than Manmohan Singh people projecting him like he is god of Economics & LPG was very out of box idea . Manmohan singh is an honest man but he was unable to oppose corruption under his nose just working as a puppet ; Pranab mukerjee should be the PM but than sonia gandhi hegemony was in danger.

    It's because of the episodes like these i really love SnG podcasts. Like you can make all the fun you want, but these guys are seriously way ahead. They are trying to break through that typical indian perception.
    Most of them might not hold a phd or anything, but there's so much that they know.
    They read, write, and watch things of greater knowledge and purpose and most importantly inculcate those things and ideas to us through this. Thank you, SnG. :)

    This was something fresh. I've watched almost all big question podcasts of SnG and after a point it became boring because you guys didn't bring anything new to the table. It was just a stuff that every comic group(s) talks about. But liked this one. Also, it would be good if you can get more female perspectives on board for different logical topics. I'm sure you will be able to find such female voices too. So far I've seen that in the indian comedy scene, groups talks about either bollywood/tv shows/feminism when they collaborate with females.
