One sure-fire way to tell if a Hydro Flask is fake on the get-go is the logo. Fake ones will always have the ‘smile’ so much closer to the body than the legit ones. The space between the arms and the first and fifth strand of hair should be the same as the space between the smile and body. Also, the groin area in the fakes are usually triangular, while the legit ones are rounded. No need to look at the bottom and texture and fonts. I can tell a fake one in just a few seconds, even from afar. It’s all in the logo.

The fake ones have the same generic F151542 code on the bottom. The fonts aren't aligned properly. They're actually getting too good now since they can also copy the sticker on the bottom. However the real ones include the name of the color on the sticker. The bottom sticker of the fake ones have a slightly different font too
I've seen some sellers on eBay show what looks like a genuine barcode sticker on the bottom of the bottle but I used an app that scans barcodes. The real ones that I got from Hydro flask and Amazon reflect the actual product. The fake ones just don't exist when you scan them with a barcode scanner . So that's another way to tell. If there's no sticker at all, I would assume it's a fake.
I have the color carnation in the 32oz and the surface seems to be rather smooth tbh. Everything else seems to match up with everything else for a real Hydro Flask though.
I have a 32oz in color Pacific. The powder coating is also “rather smooth.” I think different years of production have different quality of powder coating.
I can tell by the real hydro flask the pink definitely looks real and it's a rough texture that you can grip and the font looks printed well on the fake hydro flask the font is off bottom looks like it's words with stickers and you barely can't tell thank you soo much this video was helpful I ordered mines on Amazon it came in the mail this 100% helped me out thx soo much you earn a new sub 😊from me thx🙏🏾💕💖🖤🖤
I knew from looking at the logo. On the fake one the smiling mouth is too close to the body. Look at the gap between the hair and raised arm. That same gap should continue down, around the mouth and up the other side. However, if I was just buying a bottle with fake the last thing on my mind, I'd never have noticed.
No dude. If they don’t have the ethics to produce the bottle with their own branding, then you should assume they also don’t have the ethics to produce the bottle up to material and manufacturing safety standards.
They function the same there is a 3 days challenge here in you tube showing the performance of fakes and real one, there is no difference in terms of funcrion and performance.

There are so many hydro flasks sold online at very cheap prices. How to tell when it's online? They're all made in China, could be both real and fake.

I didn't. The concern with fakes is that the are not regulated like established brands are, so they could have leech toxins. I'd rather not risk it.
