New Sub here... Congrats getting monetized... I am half way there... good content about marriage and good attitude. I am 70 and my filipina Wife is 67 😊😊
To me, it's not about having things in common, it's about having the same goals, being a moral person and finding one. Being in a good marriage you have to work everyday on it, go through the tough times and being committed to each other. I find it kind of weird when an expat says, "if the filipina screws up, I'll just go and find another one". They don't even plan on trying to work it out. Been married to a Filipina for 16 years, now retired in the Philippines and it has been a rollercoaster ride.
@@faronray5765 People like that aren’t really interested in a marriage, just a willing warm body. I used the example of a 40-year age difference just because the person I was talking about used that. I wouldn’t say that’s ideal or something, but the idea that people from different age brackets can’t have anything in common is pretty silly to me.

What makes a great marriage? No marriage at all! Peace, quiet, and freedom!
Ask yourself why a 20 something would be with a 60 something?
