I'll give everyone a hint: Don't play this in E standard. Eb tuning requires less force to push the string down, which leads to the player having more stamina for the string skips. If you don't know how to play this in its original form, please go easy on yourself and do it right.
@@Kreeping_Death I guarantee that even if you strung up your guitar with telephone wire, it would still be better to play this in Eb instead of E standard.
@ChronicMetamorphosis - You can just use 8 gauge strings on E standard and it'll feel as soft and loose as 9 or 10 gauge strings on Eb tuning. Besides, this song on E standard even in 10 gauge strings is nowhere near as punishing than you think, unless you got soft sissy hands and fingers. I'm use to playing SRV Rude Mood on 13 high Eb to 56 Low Eb gauges or any other SRV song for that matter. Right now I'm playing this E tuned version on my Ibanez 10 gauge string and so far I don't feel like it's any different from my 10 gauge Eb Ibanez when I play the album version.
