- In this message, Pastor John Lindell shares a challenging sermon titled, "A Heart for the Poor." Join us as we study what God's Word says about loving and helping those who are struggling and learn three biblical reasons Christians should have a heart for the poor. Our prayer is that this message would deepen your love for people and encourage you to give freely and generously to everyone in need.
This is amazing I believe I found my calling. To help feed and minister to the homeless.
Let God bless you and strengthen your calling
As a homeless person, most of the time I dont desire any material things. All I want is just to have a conversation with someone. I had a buddy back in Bozeman who every once and a while would invite me over his house to do laundry, shower, eat dinner with him and and his family, play board games. Sit/sleep on the couch and just watch TV. Just to feel normal for one day than go back to being homeless. We just wanna be treated like people, not criminals. That's all.

Canada's poverty is skyrocketing now too...
I'm on the streets in winter right now and have been homeless since June in 7 communities. GOD helps me though I'm despicable👍

Yes there is poverty in west, and its a lot worse in the non western countries, especially for our Brothers and sisters in Christ!
Such an amazing message. Three of my kids were once the poorest of the poor having been once orphaned. Thank-you for giving a voice to the poor. I pray many will be filled with compassion as they hear your message.
God bless you sir

It's upliftig to regard Scripture applied to modern marginalized people.
Blessed are the poor in spirit I guess...
I've bounced around east coast to west coast roughing it like a pinball.
Basically it's east Vancouver everywhere now.
Though we never be so presumptuous to speculate regarding the subtlest of destiny, we live in spiritually dismal times...
So powerful. Thank you Pastor
