      nice vid. im really enjoying spear atm and cant wait for the buff. We may also have the 50% extra range in skewer, which could be a good opener or even an escape tool. My doubt is whether bow or musket. Trap combos may allow huge cc chain/burst. Plus the poking on musket which is definitely good as a hitscan. What do you think?

      It’s videos like this that ruin communities - mon maxing a brand new game just kills it in the long run - why you shouldn’t put gear score on items and why being a collective losers that try to “define” the meta does nothing but take the real joy out of the game- experiencing it -so whatever get fucked and enjoy your mmo reprints

    Ice gauntlet/ void gauntlet is nuts for wars, as a melee supporter. Slow ppl for your Frontline to catch them in free grav, aoe with ice spike and ga/voidblade clean up

      @@novaphact3053 uses storm, spike, shower. Look for unending thaw so you can heavy attack root people 2 seconds after they leave your storm. And practice landing your spike to hit x4 on rooted targets. U can use cookie cutter void blade scream oblivion or change oblivion for orb. I do orb and just stay weary to make sure I can kite back for a quick 5 sec if oblivion comes out from enemy

    Great video! My only suggestion is that the healing meta may shift from beacon to splash of light considering that splash will remove debuffs on allies, has 80m ish range (can heal through walls) and will restore stamina with the perk.

      Ya I thought about that a bit and it would be viable its just hard to control who you hit with that since its group only and not really able to be used on others outside. I wish it was like 5 closest allies or something

      @@Sethphir This would have made it a lot better yes. I also believe you may want to swap lights embrace out for orb of protection, especially in wars. In PvE light's embrace may be better, but PvE is so easy it doesnt make a big difference anyway. The point is that the targetting with light's embrace takes enough time that someone you may want to heal with it is already dead before it takes effect. Instead, the improved perk on orb can help with overall healing with beacon/sacred ground. Plus its animation cancel effect allows you to get off an instant attack to doublehit someone to KO them when needed, aside of its additional useful effects. Source: Running 550/560ish gear on average with these perks and ranking top 3 healer in every single war on high pop. (cba to upgrade before the patch comes out to make crafting easier).

      splash of lights cd is way too long. im a healer and tested it. lights embrace is always better due to short cd and crazy healing potential with the stacking of buffs

      impossible, splash of light doesn’t even come close to beacons power! you only heal your group! while in war you need control of who u are healing!

    For ranged mage, there are ice gauntlet void gauntlet builds with orb that do absurdly high damage in wars. I will at worst do the same damage as other mages while double rending the stack. At best, doubling other mages.

    I’ve been using rapier with ice gauntlet, rapier uses all the counter perks and ice gauntlet with ice storm , Ice spikes and pylon. I like the rapier but sometimes I’ve gauntlet lacks against more mobs

    I think the lifestaff/rapier setup should take the haste on hit skill over desperation for extra kiting & mobility with rapier, since they fixed the cooldown timer on it as well. The extra damage at low stamina usually wont matter on this setup since you're trying to maintain distance to continue healing

    As a bow/spear user since day one on release who plays massive amounts of PVP, a few things:
    1) Rain of Arrows is trash. It makes you static, and the skill itself requires clumps of people staying in one spot, which doesn’t happen as often as you think. Its area of actual hit reg is quite limited and it misses way more than it connects for huge damage.
    2) Evasion shot is an absolute must, and the haste passives as well. Bow/X builds are all about mobility and movement. Evasion Shot and the haste passives provide that in abundance.
    3) Perforate is the best finisher skill the spear has. If you time it well with Sweep/Dodge, you can burst people for 3k-5k. Far better than Skewer.
    There isn’t going to be as much of a shift towards the bow as people are thinking there will be. Not permanently anyways. GA/Hammer users are used to weapons with a very low skill ceiling that do all the work for them. The bow/spear/rapier are the complete opposite of that and are the hardest weapons to use in the game, have the highest skill ceiling, and require the player to do all the work. It’s the same reason musket users never stick to the bow after trying it and go right back to the musket. They’re too used to a low-skill, hitscan weapon that does all the work for the player. People may try the bow/spear/rapier, but will jump off it immediately once they realize they have to actually use the weapons themselves rather than just spamming left click or having a pocket healer keep you alive while you mindlessly swing at clumps of people. These players have no concept of how to manage fights, position themselves correctly, use mobility efficiently, or play with precise skill, so they’re not going to stick with weapons that require these things.

      As a bow/rapier player and occasional bow/spear or spear/rapier player, I do expect to see a bit of a shift from light armor (great for kiting and high damage output - especially with a majority of melee players) to medium armor due to the influx of ranged players. Not only that, as someone who plays 400 Dex 100 Con in light, I'm also preparing and testing at 300 Dex 200 Con medium. So far, the damage lost is far outweighed by how insanely tanky I've become and in a meta where Great Axe can't chase you down as easily and ranged enjoying light rolling, it feel unstoppable.

      @@volbrenYT I’m not so sure that an influx of ranged players will correlate to an increase in people switching to medium armor. I have no plans to leave light armor at all, and the reason is simple - all these people switching over to ranged from melee are going to be unskilled with range. They’re not going to be able to hit anything. The bow is really challenging to use well. No GA/Hammer donkey is going to be able to hit anything with a bow with any consistency. I don’t even think medium armor is necessary, nor is being tanky. If a light armor player has great mobility and movement, can position themselves well for fights, and can hit their shots with the bow/combo with their melee weapon, these people switching over from melee to ranged have no chance.

      @@NWSwill I don’t find hitting things with the bow to be that difficult and certainly think melee players will be able to throw a musket on and be a nuisance in many contexts. Not to mention how easy Fire Staff heavies are to land and ice storms are to place. As it stands equally skilled medium bow vs equally skilled light bow, the medium will win every time. The benefit to staying light with pure dex will be in invasions and war, but small scale and open world will basically be medium armor meta.

      @@volbrenYT You don’t have difficulty hitting with a bow because you’ve spent time using it and know how to use it. That’s not the same case for GA/Hammer players switching over where, again, they’re used to weapons doing all the work for them. As for the fire staff and ice gauntlet, I think that’s a poor comparison because the skills on those weapons have a wider cone to hit targets, making it easier to hit players. With a bow arrow, you can shoot an arrow below a player’s armpit and not get a hit, so it requires much more skill and precision. As for medium armor always winning against light, in your purely hypothetical scenario of both players being 100% equal, then perhaps you’re right, though that’s certainly debatable as mistakes can be made during fights. But the reality is that 90-95% of fights don’t involve two players being dead equal in terms of skill. You put a bow and medium armor in the hands of a former GA/Hammer user and I’m absolutely dunking on them. But hey, let’s hope you’re right and there’s a huge influx of people switching to bow from melee. I’ll certainly enjoy the free kills.

    I hate how musket got buffed last patch with a slight fire rate increase, but in this patch, they fixed an animation bug that indirectly ruined the fluidity of musket’s shooting in combat. Essentially it reversed the last update’s buff and now it feels even clunkier. I just wish they would’ve left it how it was considering how underwhelming it already was.

    Great Video! But I dont think we will see any PvP healer with light armor.
    On my server every high rank healer plays medium or mostly even heavy armor, since the heal is still decent and people used to focus the healers hardcore.
    With light armor you basically get demolished if your enemies are not unaware of basic mmo pvp mechanics ^^
    You can save yourself with the Rapier, but then you are not able to help your mates, what makes you kinda useless for a good amount of seconds (rapier cooldowns).

    What do you think of spear & musket? That spear setup with the musket traps is what I'm running now. Can't wait for the spear buff. Also been toying with void gauntlet & rapier but with orb instead of oblivion and void heavy attacks buffed up.

      I tried making spear/musket work but unfortunately spear cc isn’t long enough to get a trap off. If they dodge out of a leg sweep or vault kick your trap won’t hit. It’s super frustrating but Riposte is the only cc long enough to guarantee a trap besides the shield or maybe hammer stuns.

    600gs equipped dex user here - I use Bow/Rapier for PvP and Bow/Spear for PvE and both builds are cracked. Not sure why people think Spear and Bow are not in a good spot; Spear with Sweep, Perforate and Kick is absolutely bonkers in dungeons and invasions.

    Rapier/IG in the right hands is an absolute nuke. Ice spike is most underrated burst ability atm. Anything with musket in PVP OPR is insane!!! (Maybe too good)

    Armour: Light( for extra damage and mobility. If you try this build with med/heavy you'll find you get kited way to easy and can not stick to your target)
    Weapon: Spear/hatchet(hatchet is for survivability mostly but also provides good damage/rend and root)
    Attributes: 250con(to make up for the lack of physical/magical resistance)
    150dex(dodge cost 10 less stamina(very helpful))
    100str(you can go 50str 200dex but I don't find the 200dex perk helpful when I already have a very high crit chance so I don't feel the need to try backstab all the time. Also having 100str 150dex increases your hatchet damage by miles more and spear damage by the same amount as 50str 200dex)
    Spear skills: Preforate( if you land all 3 attacks, you'll notice a big difference in damage from the rend applied, also getting fortifying perforate on a piece of equipment can give you up 27% fortify for 6seconds)
    Sweep & coupe de gra: good knockdown and bonus damage + bleed(if you have bleeding sweep) + fortify(15% for 2seconds- defensive stance perk(zoner))
    Vault kick: stun + reduces cd + crit chance(18% for 5secs- keen vault kick armour perk)
    My spear has both vicious(11% crit damage) and keenly jagged(on hit causes bleed)
    I can apply two stacks of bleed and my crit chance is increased by 15% when attacking a bleeding target(exposed wounds- impaler tree)
    Deady reach-10% crit chance when attacking targets that are atleast 3m away
    50dex perk - 5% crit chance
    Keen awareness- 11% crit chance
    I have been using spear and hatchet since launch and am the most well known spear user on my current and old server. I have been tweaking my build constantly over time and been using this set up for the past 3 weeks and barely anyone has beaten me. Tip: using the perk aggressive maneuvers and dodging after every ability will lower your Cooldowns constantly and you can basically spam abilities and stun lock people

    to me, as a healer, the hammer or void gauntlet still are the best secondary. The hammerhas a lot of selfhealing which should scale with focus but also, you can use it both for offense and defense; i've used path of destiny to peel a melee train on a teammate who was trying to run, once your heals are dropped you can use the hammer's CC on their healers or melee even to help your team get the kill.
    Don't get me wrong i love the Rapier but if you're NOT under attack i find it pretty useless to the team (if you don't have int/dex for its dmg).
    For the hammer i use clear out as a healer so i can knock people away from me, my teammates, out of enemy sacred ground or oblivion etc, it also gives me haste so i can escape. With the item perk "repulising clear out" i can get some amazing distance between attackers and myself if i knock them all away and start running the other way.

    I have been doing a Spear/Throwing hatchet build of all things.
    And so far, it has worked amazingly (pre-patch).
    The Rend + Reduced Healing+Dmg, gives you a nasty burst when they close the gap.
    It turned to a point, when I get gravity well thrown at me. I welcome it.
    And then when they run away, killing them by throwing a hatchet into their back is always so greatly satisfying.

      @@Sethphir I gotta warn though. It takes dumb amount of practice to get hang of throwing hatchet, due to slow velocity and big drop. Its almost impossible to hit anything, Unless they have their backs turned around. But regardless, it takes quite a bit of practice. But the disease cloud in Outpost rush works really well when you throw it at doors. Rending throw is such a quick throw its practically a melee attack. So that wont be a issue to land hits with. My build is Mandatory Berserk and all its upgrades. Rending throw +1 upgrade, Infected throw + all its upgrades.
      Aimed Throw, Crit Throw, On Fire on the throwing build, and rest is in berserker. With all important Defy Death.
      Aimed throw is optional, as depending how you play, you'll see how much you actually end up throwing the hatchet outside its abilities. And some people just simply prefer the block. I just like the option to throw due to the Meme + skill factor, and gives you a ranged weapon in situations it would be nice to play around with.
      For the spear, you either go your build, I have my own similar build but I incorporated the throwing spear, just because when throwing hatchets ain't enough, nothing a thrown spear can't solve. + I like pretending I'm a angry Scottish Fisherman hunting for whales screaming in Scottish whenever you get a killing blow with a thrown spear.
      Also the fact I just like throwing things.

    I've been playing Spear/Hatchet for a months now, and just recently transitioned away from it. I really loved the play style, but since so many players are using GA/WH and are constantly affected by grit, none of the knock downs or stuns typically work. And when they do work, the players get up way faster than they should or your vault kick doesn't want to connect.

      Vault kick is key here vs melee grit. Stuns break through grit and allow you to combo the sweep after for a true combo! It is rough but with some practice you can be very oppressive towards melee with the spear. Hatchet is in a bit of a rough spot though sadly.

      @@Zakethehero he’s saying to vault kick which does..then sweep.. I feel your pain though sweep never works feels like grit is broken when your a spear user.. sweep should knockdown through grit it’s sickening when you sweep 4 guys and they all just stand there and you can’t vault kick all of them first

      @@Zakethehero Yeah, vault kick goes through any grit and also cancel for example hammer animation (when he is in the air and is just about to land and stun everyone you use vault kick and cancel his stun and he is stunned instead). It takes a bit of practice (not just LMB spam as GA) but when you master the spear then no GA/Hammer user can kill ;) If you will become top 1 spear user then GA/Hammer will not even deal 1 dmg to you.
      I play bow/spear and I LOVE when GA is trying to chase me (I'm in light armor so they think I'm easy target). What I do is: weaken him with bow, hit some shots, use evade shot, he is becoming more tilted and use his charge then I change to spear, dodge his CC from hammer and vault kick him -> sweep with coup de grace -> dodge + javelin (hard to hit that one sometimes) -> switch to bow -> evade shot and repeat.

      @@Sethphir unless they fixed it. That isn't the case. While you can vault kick someone with grit, if you sweep them they will be able to roll out of the coup attack. Currently its best to kick-skewer and save the sweep for when you can secure coup. But if you kick into grit and then sweep, they can spam dodge to roll away instantly before coup lands (with no stam cost as well)

    meanwhile im a heavy healer, and i probably wont be changing it... light armors increased healing sounds amazing but a dead healer doesnt do anything so i prefer survivability above crazy heal numbers. i use orb, sacred ground and lights embrace with all those weapons perks on my armor. if my team sticks close to me they survive, cuz i survive the armada of 5-8 gaxes on me at once. people underestimate the tanky healer build, cuz with oblivion you get 4 dodges instead of 2 anyway if you just spec enough in it to gain stamina, aswell as lights embrace giving stamina :)

    did they fix some of the firestaff's bugs? you picked 2 perks which give burn on light attack or crit, the first one supposedly lowers crit chance and the 2nd supposedly is still broken on live.
    Did they not change rapier's riposte after all?

    I would like it if armor took a damage debuff as you get hit and the longer you are in combat which deminishes again quickly when you aren't getting hit. This would enable players to be tanky but not frontlining forever, and they have to be smart about how long they stick around and move in and out of combat like everyone else has to

      Interesting suggestion, basically a sort of more you get hit eventually you die type thing. Might be hard to implement fairly though.

      @@Sethphir Yes that's it, relatively slow to build the debuff, quick to replenish by stepping aside, avoiding hits or taking the pressure off a bit. I think melee is a tipping point, if they are stronger in the fight, with good heals, there's little you can do to outplay them. Kind of defeats the purpose of skill based combat to some degree.

    Ive actually been running fire staff and void gauntlet. Currently have like 278 int and 150 const. Would you trade any of that for some focus to get better healing? Thinking more of a group support feature

    I don't think another melee build can beat spear/hammer, but light armour ranged classes can kill you before you even get close - especially musket/rapier as they have long stuns/roots which mean you're totally helpless.
    Sweep is also pretty useless in PVP, you need Perforate as this is the most OP skill in the game at present if you have the armour perk for it.
    I personally am stuck with what to switch to as I want to continue to use spear, but there is no healing or sustain with spear, and nor is there any with Bow, and the other ranged weapons require different attributes and you end up being a jack of all trades rather than a master of one.

    What I really wish is that heal tanks get a hughe nerf. At least for self heal. IMO they are way to annoying in wars and they destroy 1 vs. 1 combat completly. There is no skill in standing in a heal cricel and attack with ligh attacks...

      Healers already got huge nerfes, they can‘t keep nerfing healers, that is not the way ist works and also tanky healers can easily be destroyed, im one myself so I know that a lot of things can kill me easily if they are good at their build.
      And thats the point everything can be good or Bad ist just depends on the player.
      And the original purpose of healers with a bit more life and heavy amor is to stay alive cause a dead healer is a worthless waste of space in that situation.

      Yeah just add minus healing when in heavy, it’s clearly not supposed to be a healer in heavy amor and healing for so much (I am also a healer but I always play mid)

      @@sky_xxx892 Its not balanced... Healer and dps classes need to be light or medium so you can fight in the backline. Every class counters another but heavy healers have no counter part. Even light dps classes take way to long for heavy healers. I switched for a short time to heavy healer and its the most disgusting class imo. 1 vs. 1 combat is useless with that class. Even light dps classes dont make enough damage to them....

      @@TheRealDionysos but the problem is that they cant keep nerfing healers or else they can‘t even heal enough in PvE and are so low that they arent worth enough for pvp.
      The point would be extra perks for the other classes. And it really is possible to beat heavy healers solo atm. Atleast I saw enough really good dds doing so.

    Also, I've been using spear with the same skill setup since CBT, so trust when I say to not use exacerbated crits on the right side of the tree -- you can keep skewer's bleed permanently applied thanks to all the CD refund that spear has, and there are better perks like the stamina cost reduction on backwards dodges, or the execute damage boost

      The big risk spear has with heavy attack setups is that you cant ever land a fully charged heavy attack while in light armor without getting punished. The only guarantee you get now is off coup de grace after a knockdown, which is only one attack in your entire kit. The stun from vault doesnt last long enough for a fully charged heavy unless you have medium/heavy armor, so I'd suggest leaning into a light attack build for better mobility with a light armor setup along side the bow. Plus more frequent attacks will help synergize with all the stamina refund spear has access to

    Please don't use Desperation on grace tree... (the one left of evade) Swiftness is a much better ability that allows you to hit and run then use bow then hit and run. You're not using rapier to fight in melee distance vs a great axe/hammer. 10% of damage doesnt make up for 2 dodges

      There are 500 total attribute points in the game atm. 190 from talents 260 from gear 40 from stat food and 5 base on each attribute for a total of 500 if you are in two categories. Developers set it up this way on purpose so you can have a 300 / 200 stat distribution.

    in pve spear is already great with perforate. people underestimate how much dmg you do when you have the 3 debuffs on the target and all the lower health perks kick in.

    It feels like you need to be able to take a hit, so running around in light armor with reduced healing is a great way to die to 3 people focusing you in a few seconds, where as with heavy armor, you can literally stand on the point and tank 5-7 people. This addition of healing reduction will not reduce the value of heavy armor, it will increase it.

      That's been the opposite of what's been happening on my server at least. DPS builds are getting more and more optimized so if you're a healer getting focused by 3 DPS, unless you have void gauntlet you're dying. Plus because of said increased damage being in light armor for the extra heals on point is almost essential.

    I've been a mage since the game came out, I'd say using the heavy attacks is easier than light attacks machinegun. It doesn't use mana, in fact it regens it. Also on top of that it reduces your cooldowns so you can spam fireballs on them and have the burnout ready to escape whenever needed
    Edit: also forgot it's easier to hit them since the size of the projectile is also bigger than light attack

      I would like to see it a bit bigger still, there is a lot of movement in the game and it doesn't do enough to miss enough. Compared to bow or musket the fire staff attack feels weak

    Musket build. Do I put a maximum of dexterity? Do I equal the build of melee dps and distribute the 300 dex points and the rest in con?
    Do I use set medium? or take?
    Is it feasible to put points in dex and int and give up con since I'm ranged ?
    This in pvp.

      Light or Medium Armor are both viable. If you Play musket,Take 150 int (+15% elemental dmg) and a elemental gemstone.I Personaly Like playing 100 con,but 50 would Work to,Rest ist for dex.

    Wich of these would you recommend for the average casual player that has little PVP affinity ? Considering that i only have magic weapons and musket leveled up 😅. Not per say the Very best, but a good class to get into the PVP. (Unfortunately Also very crappy aim with bow)
    The musket is okay, just feels weak in my hands. (the Guildies are way more lethal lol)

      Hmm i think grav well only lasts for 3 seconds so that uptime of 10% and only for people standing in the grav well does not seem too worth to me! But each person plays a different way so maybe you are on to something there!

    One video idea is a video that tells you how to achieve 400 dex 100 con or w.e. I'm interested in a video that gives viable numbers. Like is 100 con standard. I also want to know viable builds like glass cannon. A good middle of the road dps or a tank build.

      I'm spear/hatchet Light armour, 250con 150dex 100str, the light armour is for damage/mobility(much needed if you want to stick to your target and don't want to get kited), the 250con is to make up for having no physical/magical resistance, 150dex is so your dodge costs less stamina and I used to go 50str and the rest into dex but it actually works out more damage if you go 100str. The extra str points increases your hatchet damage by miles more and increases your spear damage to the same damage as if you went 50str 200dex. I'm the most well known spear user on my server and barely ever lose with this build(this information about my build is just the tip of the iceberg, once you get all the skill perks from armor it gets crazy)

    Please don't take "Rain of Arrows" if you are using bow in PVP. Take Evade shot with all it's passives. It will help you kite against any melee and never get hit along with the rapier which is also just an escape tool not a damaging tool. Also take "Dodge and Weave", the haste on dodge is extremely good. This build being showcased is "okay" for PVE and maybe wars but for PVP (Duels/OPR/World PVP) it's very bad.

    300 int and 200 con for mage? That's perfect 600gs on everything. I think you should be more realistic. I use 333 int (with food) and 150 con. For wars. Everyday running around 293 int 150 con. With the cheap meal I'm over 300int.

    They really need to fix this game more. Like make pvp skill based where you have to dodge,block, think when using CDs so on, so it's about skills. Now 90% of the time the pvp is just about who can click LMB fastes with no brain just click,click, click.... So borring ... Also they need to change to scaling more back to what we had in closed beta. And update / change / add stuff to the World pvp Quest / system. 99% have World pvp off and 99.9% have World pvp off when under lvl 60s. So boring when you level a character and it feels like a PvE farming simulator game..... 😴 I really hope they will fix the game but to do so it kinda means change the whole game at it's core and will for sure not happen .. ,(sadly) :( This is not to hate on the game or trash talk it. But i sadly think in few weeks unless they do major changes the game will keep dropping in population. And in a few months it will be totally dead like so many other MMOs, unless they really step up their game.

Clear out is a specialty skill and can be very good for your team in the hands of a skilled player, on the flip side it can also be very good for the enemy team in the hands of a bad player lol Seen too many push out of aoe dmg in my time

      Exactly people complain about GA beign too strong when they get to you, but the issue is the first part. People let them get close.
      It is in every game. Warrior gets on you as ranged you are on troubles.

    if you have god tier aiming and skill then nothing beats Rapier + Bow however the skill ceiling is very high for Bow.
    another option for those with less aiming is Rapier + Musket = has lower ceiling than Bow and more effective if your are less skilled.
    if you are trash then just go Gaxe+Whammer is the only weapons in the game that can be used effectively by left clickers without any skill at all and possibly win because they are OP as hell, Gaxe has a massive lunge and auto aim that can hit even if you arent actually looking at your enemy, Whammer stuns the crap out of everyone.
    if you want to feel like you acomplish something and want to dive into the games mechanics and have fun learning and pissing yourself off in that experience then = Rapier + Bow is the way to go.
    people think the Bow is OP and that may be true in PVE but if you are a newb and using it in PVP you are getting stomp pretty bad, the Arrows are very slow and the aiming needs to be done where the enemy is moving not on target.

    So since cleansing potions doesn't work against stuns, what defense does people have in war against mass hammer team? None. Its just brutal. Duel is fine, you can dodge, but try to dodge 10 shockwaves coming from all directions for 6 seconds straight. At this point just imbalanced mess of a game.

    please do not go light or medium for healing, PVP meta is heavy always will be nothing has changed. 200 con for heavys is huge doubling the resistance you get. PVP and wars if you are medium and light healer vs a focused organised group you wont last 2 seconds

      Not true at all I live very long in both light and medium. Most players go medium atm for healing on my server and its pretty competitive. Might be a playstyle thing but people play in many different ways so if heavy works for you go for it! but other things also work!

      @@Sethphir id argue EU amenti is very very competitive probably the biggest PvP player base in EU. and we all run heavy for survivability in all factions. the 200 con stacking with heavy armour is soooo sooo noticable. pretty cool if your server has a different playstyle with certain roles. Amenti has completely adopted a Heavy armour or you die meta. DPS melee and range are the only exception and will go medium.

      @@dabzsy8529 you need more skill to run a lighter weight armor. It so much easier to just take hits and survive in heavy than medium. Med. You actually have to dodge and reposition between attacks, and you have to pay attention to your enemies attacks. I played heavy since launch, the last like 2 weeks I've been med. No plans on going back. The damage and agility is just to good on med. If you have the skill to use it.
