We are back with another Ramadan Mukbang Series episode! This week, Kamal has cooked us some smashed patties double and triple cheeseburgers! YUMMMMMMMMMM
Ramadan is not sunnah, it is part of our religion. Sow it is obliged! It is ONE of the FIVE Pilars of islam. In de month ramadan we should get closer to allah(swt), we reed quran, we give much sadaqah(charity) and so on.

Just an add on to why we fast - god prescribed to us fasting to gain takwa of him which is god consciousness of him so that we can change
It’s not sunnah it’s fardh. Its the 5pilars of our deen. Arkan al islam. Its the same as hajj. Those who can is fardh to do it those who can’t afford it don’t have to. And its the same with sawm (ramadan) those who aren’t sick or don’t have their month cyclus they have to fast as Fardh
Didn't they call the dates and water part sunnah? I don't think I heard them say fasting was sunnah

Fasting from dawn (subuh) to dusk (maghrib ) is not a correct implementation of Islam. Allah says in the Qur'an that we should fast from daybreak where you can see the sliver of white on the horizon, to nightfall or layl. "Layl" is Arabic for night , which arrives typically 40 minutes to an hour after maghrib . Those who break their fast at maghrib is wasting their Ramadan.
Well in the first place, you should be referring to the Sunnah for clarification of what is considered nightfall, which shows the Prophet (saw) fasted from fajr to maghreb (right when the sun disappeared considered nightfall)
@@Hetsupshut3 You have no evidence of that . Whatever narrations claiming he (pbuh) did something are all spurious hearsay accounts written by dodgy men centuries after the lifetime of the prophet pbuh. The wording of the Qur'an is clear , layl is night and layl is not the same as maghrib .
