The clone troopers I think are based off of the 2003 clone wars phase 2 designs, they are eerily similar so if i had to guess it had to be the reference for them.
I think the reason the old p2 clone trooper helmet has this shape is a much simpler answer lmao, Lego just added a fin and the cut out visor to their already existing storm trooper helmet mold, if you look closely, it's pretty much the same exact helmet, it has the same proportion and all but with the fin and the visor being cut out
Iirc, the design of the mold for clone helmets was based off of both early concept art for ep 3 as well as their look in the clone wars microseries which was more stormtrooper-ish than it ended up being in the final movie.
Yeah, Lego probably originally designed the troopers to look like the ones from the micro series because I don’t think they covered sets that were from PG-13 movies at the time
Thank you! The idea was to have some idol animations for the figures, not really sure what I was thinking with that particular shock trooper one though.
Always enjoyed your vids since the first one I watched which was the clones vs droids battlepack. Your style of video is more structured which I enjoy and I'm not sure why but it reminds me of ahoy which I used to enjoy watching. Keep making amazing vids man
Finally a Lego Star Wars RUclipsr who doesn’t fan boy the 2003 clones The clone are not that good and I don’t care that they are accurate to the clone wars micro series
Heck, they aren't even that accurate to the '03 Clone Wars microseries. Sure, the helmet is similar in shape, but it definitely isn't one-to-one, and the torso print is completely different since the torso is actually based on the film and not the microseries.

These clones were actually designed based on the 2003 clones.

I love the little figure (dancing) animations. So much effort for little reward :(

@HyperionsFigures make one do a backflip next yime and don't elaborate lmao
I love the editing! The stop motion animations really add to the high quality of the video!
Is it just me or for the Boxart for the clone sets since 2020 have them with red blasters instead of their standard blue?
These clone troopers where also where helmets helmet holes started love all of your vids thank s so much

I hope they rerelease the 327th and the Neon Green clones in the modern style
Great vid bro i wish i can become this good of a content creator
i actually really like these old helmets and how they came with black heads underneath, it's a much better design than the 2014 style
The clone trooper helmets were based on the 2d clone wars
Hi Man i have a question for you: if you could would you join LAN?

The hate of the helmet shouldn’t be there
The other variant of the OG shock trooper also has white hips, talk about distracting
epic
Lol still better then new storm troopers helmets
nerd
Nah, the dual-molded stormtrooper helmets actually look good. These old p2 helmets, on the other hand, do not.
