If ur gonna do more reactions to kiss of life (which I REALLY recommend they have a great discography), always remember to watch their mvs in release order as there is always going to be a storyline. You don't have to worry much about bad news and nobody knows, they have separate storylines and you watched them in order too. But their debut project was amazing as well.
The debut project follows a storyline of the 4 individual girls, four different places and 4 different struggles/situations. You'll have to pay close attention since there's much detail and connection going on between these mvs. Then, in their pre-release, it showed how their solo mvs connect and how they met for the first time. And all of this leading to their title track "Shh". That's a total of 6 songs.

You simply must react to the live cover song of each member of Baby Monster. The cover songs were when they were trainees vying for a place to debut as Baby Monster. They cover songs like Traitor, Dangerously etc. They have insane singing abilities each and every of the Baby Monster members. Trust me, you will be blown away.

@@KaylaMichelle Great! However, what I meant was, each girl did a live cover song and they were posted online individually. So, there are 7 live cover performances. The youtube views for these covers range from 10million to 35 million views. Crazy.
Kiss of Life The whitsle high note is from Belle, red hair girl. She is still 19 or 20 but already cowrote songs professionally. Unforgiven by Le Sserafim is one of the songs she got credit. They appear many TV and radio shows where they sing live and killed it every time.

ZEROBASEONE are literally the group with the best chemisty I have ever seen in KPOP. It's crazy to me that they are from survival show because they literally looks like a one big family! Their music is also insane

Babymonster's debut song 'Batter Up' is just an official introduction of new GG from YG. So, the music and MV seems to be a mixing of their previous artists and YG signature vibe. Anyway, the meaning of the rylics told their fans they are a new born monster that ready to beat up every music stats. Although they're still very young but obviously full of talents.
And Kiss Of Life is a very talent GG as well. Their debut project and member introdution were kinda interesting. The songs and MVs also are all great.
I always have the captions on when available but as someone who studied film and loves editing I tend to get too focused into the video and editing and just listening to the music and beat rather than reading the lyrics
Batter Up has already smashed the Fastest 150 million views in kpop debut history. Boombayah is not even close to the record smashing Batter Up. Baby Monster are already legends and they just debuted.
No one is saying that they are just like BlackPink. When reacting I go in blind so it's all first and original thoughts and opinions. No one is knocking their accomplishments or how they'll grow. I just pointed out for me the similarities I saw with no knowledge about the group, that's it. I'm sure they'll be great moving forward and I plan to keep reacting to them but no one is saying they are BlackPink.
@@KaylaMichelle if you have actually listened to Blackpink songs it usually draws from at least 5 samples from other well known songs. So when you say it has similarities you are saying Batter up sounds like 6 other well known artists including Blackpink??

It is not Blackpink. It is YG. If you understand YG music, it usually has messages. Batter Up contains lots of Blackpink references because it is a YG personal song/rap message directed to Blackpink girls. The message says, sign your bloody contracts or watch your highly trained and supercharged talented replacements take this opportunity to shine with or without you. Batter Up means, next batter to the plate. Eg, Rami sings, talk too much, big mistake and toss the telephone refers to Rose' Gone. 6 genius BM girls dancing to Money compared to 1 Lisa BP. Rora with the Jisoo lookalite. Ruka raps, baton in hand, all set, I run run run also means to pass the baton from one runner to the next in track and field. It is a beautiful original YG rap song message in protracted contract negotiations with Blackpink girls. Beautiful. Watch at least 10 times if you can't recognise the messages.

Obsessed with Kiss of Life! And you did watch the videos in order. “Bad News” was showing them with bad behavior, out of context. Then “Nobody Knows” was showing the context, and explaining that nobody knows what’s really going on/causing said bad behavior.
Also, for your deep dive, check out both songs “live” versions (still in a studio but it’s just them singing), SO GOOD. Belle and those whistle notes!

Idk if anyone clarified this, but nobody knows is actually the second mv, bad news comes first! Nobody knows mv is an explanation for the snips we see in the bad news mv, like why the man falls from the window, why haneul seemed to be bullying the girl (who is actually a bully and haneul was avenging her friend)

No hate i love bp but i think the rap line of babymonster hits harder their flow swag everything
that's totally a fair comment. i feel as the years goes and more groups debut they'll all start to outdo the older gens as the training will just keep improving them to do so.
but the thing is,, the mv and song is not blackpink-sounding, ITS VERY MUCH YG STYLE-sounding, if you watch other YG Groups even boygroups.. youll see where the similiarties are, and you can deattach them more from blackpink,, every group has that YG sound but with their own twist, so i can really see babymonster's youth and freshness, also with that more old hiphop sound...
You should see Nobody Know on stage. It's really really good.
