    Fluid Film or the equivalent would prevent further undercarriage rust.

    One question: is that part you changed related to the Airbag light? Incredible... I have all the lights just like you before doing that job.

      So much is related to each other on these BMWs - it’s hard to say.

      My lights in the dash came on as well as the speedometer not working, the drivers side rear censor was rubbing through because the reluctor wheel swelled from rust on the axle . Had to replace both censor and left rear axle . As far as the air bag light is concerned , my passenger side air is off and showing a code and I believe there’s a recall from BMW for air bag but you have to call and give your vin number to verify.
