Cat's tail is actually possessive noun determiner not possessive noun lol like it is cat's tail, but cat's without a noun is really possessive noun like it is cat's.When do we use?it is when we mentioned that noun first.Gor sample, that is cat's tail, and the tail is cat's. Or whose tail is this?It is cat's.(cat's is cat's tail)agreed?just like possessive pronoun determiner and possessive pronoun, This is my cellphone, and that is yours.(yours is your cell phone)
