- In this Oblivion challenge, we're going to see if it's possible to drag Emperor Uriel Septim's body across the Province of Cyrodiil! I'm starting from Leyawiin and will be dragging his poor old body all the way up to Chorrol.
Can I do it? Will I be able to keep my sanity while slowly dragging Uriel across the Empire? Is this the dumbest idea for an Elder Scrolls challenge? Well, yeah.

It is assumed that the largest planet is Tamriel. You can observe their direct orbital movement around the sun.

To be fair, if I saw someone dragging the corpse of my nation's leader across the countryside, I would probably be disinclined to ask any questions that might result in me JOINING said national leader in the great beyond.

Fun fact! If you phase through a certain wall and kill the assassin before he kills the emperor, the emperor doesn't die! And his voice actor changes for some reason!

i accidetly did this the first time i played. i think he is chilling down in the sewers to this day
the Khajiit who bothered you in the street is Dro'Nahrahe, from Castle bravil. but because of a bug, every day in oblivion she walks from Bravil to Castle Bruma.
basically every day she travels all the way across Cyrodiil, until some random beast kills her and puts her out of her misery
I thought that was just where her plug lived
It's nice to see the emperor get out and about even in his old age
It's like Micky D woke up and thought "You know what Oblivion's lacking in? Those annoying quests where you've gotta guide an NPC around and they're completely useless."

What we are witnessing here is an artist suffering for his work.
So, as a kid, when I was playing Oblivion, I'd challenge myself to murder someone and drag their corpse across the city to a predetermined hiding spot dodging guards/npcs. If anyone spotted me, I considered it a fail and had to go to jail. This challenge is absolutely insane, around town was bad enough.

Watching this made me realize the missed chance for a mission like this in Oblivion.

Holy fuck this takes me back to a new playthrough,dragging some woman you kill outside a tavern for dark brotherhood, who has an annoying ass voice. It was south of cyrodil and I dragged her all the way to a hill in the north to toss her off. This was because I had just finished Skyrim and shouted someone off a hill lmao.
Was probably 10 or 11 years ago. I did similar in New Vegas. Absolute pain, and I loved it all.

Literally never even thought about the Emporer's shoes, and I need to say, they're pretty baller.
Also kind of funny that he doesn't have legs... I mean, he's wearing the gown so Bethesda didn't really need to make legs so it makes sense. Just never noticed any of this stuff before.
