Diamond Blue it’s actually not water proof it’s water resistant which means it can’t last under water forever but barely even 30 minuets not hate just helping I hope u see this lol

Its not that there isn't touch sensor when the phone is submerged,its that water tension presses on the screen so the phone doesn't acknowledge any finger action because the screen is being touched everywhere
That would be true if it where tactile touch, like a Nintendo ds. But modern phones are capacitive touch. Basically there is a grid of wires under your screen with current flowing though them and this makes an electric field. You finger approaching the screen causes a change in the flux which is measurable in the current flowing through the wires. But your finger has the same electro permeability as water so there is no change in flux

i tried taking the video under the pool with iphone 8 plus for 3 minutes and it really went off.
I went on a snorkeling trip Jan 2020 and use my iPhone 8+ and was fine, awesome movie and sound too, didn’t have any issues at all
