Do you use fire arrows because they sound cool?
Also another cool trick for towers is to put shields in them. Archers literally never die for the cost of 35 gold times however many shields you want

try playing stronghold mod DUC Edition, it's more challenging cause the troops limit can reach 1K each computer yuo face.
