Only thing I really don’t like about the General is it’s width. Most of the trails I’ve found around me are 50” and below and the only Polaris sxs I see that meets that 50” spec is the rzr trail.
Even if you don't dump, as a clean freak with my vehicles, the tilt bed is great for washing out the back too if nothing else. My personal opinion, I don't like the SXS's because you can go 100kmh down a fire road and it feels like driving a sedan on the freeway. I prefer ATV'S, it feels more involved and thrilling. But my wife would prefer me to have a sxs lol Last thing, I wish every maker would just at a minimum, stealth snorkel everything. I feel like Polaris is the worst for CVT outlet design. Don't get me wrong, love my Polaris's but my touring has a huge pipe with not enough pressure to keep even splashes out from 2" deep puddles, add that while it is high, there is no U so anything going in, is going to the CVT. Am I wrong?
5 things I hate about MY General XP 4. 1 camera’s suck. 2 needs more leg room. 3 the ride command needs built in 2 way radios to justify price. 4 for the price point of the XP 4 Deluxe it should have live valve. 5 the power, in the plains of Oklahoma it is ok but in the mountains of Colorado it truly sucks.
@@EC_ATV_Outdoors I had a Gilomen setup for high altitude after the the first trip thinking that was the case. It wasn’t any better. So I ordered a Pro XP4, 7 months ago. But I’m not getting into that conversation. Still no new ride.

Great video! Just bought a 22 XP4. By the way, why just 3 maxtrax? ;)

I have a Polaris General 2020 xp 4 1000. Can’t get rid of belt slap. Even after 3 belts.

Can't speak to 1-4 but 5 clutching and fuel need to be modified for higher elevations. Just like baking bread at different elevations changes.
