Please do not combine fish roe with cheese and tomatoes. :-) All by itself may taste really good, but (in my opinion) it does not go well together. But I am convinced that you will have a lot of interesting culinary experiences - especially in France. All the best for your time in Europe! Enjoy!

Hey guys! Good call on turning back, great that you keep the planning flexible and try to work with Mama Nature! That is a lot of slack in the rig. Not sure of how much tension you started out with so if you have been sailing with the stays on the slack side then retuning might be all you need. (Note I am not a fan of high rig tension with these older rig designs with lots of stays as the static compression loading gets out of hand quickly). If however the slackness is new, you need to do some snooping to see what has changed. I am aware of a few Amels that have developed softness at the base of the mast compression post. Does the bilge area under the head area where the compression post is stay dry on your boat? Moisture especially fresh can cause rot in the post and bulkhead. Look for any cracked gel coat coating at the base of the post and do a little prodding to be sure the wood is sound. It all is ok, and just the cap shrouds are loose, check the mast attachments. We are finally in the water ourselves and gearing up for some extended cruising, going to track you down at some point. Looking forward to hearing about what you think of Albania. We loved Montenegro in 2019, the Boka Kotorska is an amazing place. We are thinking of wintering in Turkey or Monastir, how about yourselves? J&J SV Sueno

Thanks for the tips! Yeah nothing major wrong...but a couple of items I'm going to check into when we pull the mast. I'm sure our paths will cross someday 😉👍🐼

Better luck next time. I am eager to hear what's up with the rigging? Seems like it should not be doing that at all.

Yeah, some further investigations will be happening when we pull the rig...tbd

Vous etes aller à Douarnenez sans aller voir les ruines romaines ? Vous avez vraiment manqué quelque chose d'intéressant.
Did you go to Douarnenez without going to see the Roman ruins? You really missed something interesting.

Ah we did actually see the ruins! We took a great walk there and along the coast. But just didn't fit the footage into the episode. Maybe we will make it bonus content on Patreon 🥰🐼👍
