I live in West Virginia, in a town called Lavalette, and we just got hit by a tornado (ef1, 100 mph winds) and it was truly something to behold in that area, can’t believe there’s another chance for this again… I like storms

It is hard to predict weather in northeastern ohio especially with severe storms so I am not going to get to excited aboout the storms bc if I do they wont hit me at all. I just want to see one good storm tomorrow.

Florida is pretty much always ok. I lived there since birth to almost 64 yrs old!
We already have a "severe weather warning" on cellphones here in my county of northeast Tennessee for strong, 50 mph gusty wind for Thursday and Friday. And as I began writing this comment I just started hearing the wind blowing. My next door neighbor has gigantic oak trees, many if which are close to my property line. Those trees are what causes me to be fearful during bad storms as they would fall on my house due to how they are leaning. I'm praying the storms lose strength and aren't as severe for everyone today🙏

@@mamamamamamamamaaaThere’s something to be said for this. The rapid changes in climate seem to be pushing weather that’s “normal” for the southern tier, northwards.

Now this is why I like winter better! They tested the tornado siren today..now that scared me!
I had a heart attack last week and have to go have 4 hours of cardiac testing tomorrow. Just what I need to have..a tornado during my tests! 😭

Honestly, we had one nasty storm last year and a hot dry summer before that. Yes, the farmers had to water their crops often and the ground was stained brown due to lack of water, but I'd like another mostly storm free summer.
