Very informative and original talk on Swami vivekananda, but one thing stressed by Prof. Paranjape is unconvincing that Swamiji drank also. It is well known to all that he was a meat eater and smoker but I have nowhere come across the fact that he used to drink also as I have read almost all the popular and authentic biographies of Swamiji and his Complete Works as well so thoroughly. Please give the reference of the book regarding this discovery.
Some religions doesn’t let you question. I don’t accept all religions as true. Over time all religions become corrupted and we need reformers from time to time.
This is the beauty of sanatana dharma that it is absolutely in favour of science! The linkages between Tesla, Swamiji, Nivedita and Jagadish Chandra Bose himself are fascinating! I absolutely love being a hindu!
Here I found Prof Makarand is caricaturizing Swami Vivekananda. Swamiji was never in romantic relation with Nivedita. He was a celibate, a brahmachari all along his life and had a total control on lust. Sri Ramakrishna was also a celibate all along and he never practised the tantric sexual practices. Moreover Swamiji never drank wine. Please first read thoroughly and then comment.
