Great video. The one thing that I would like to stress is that we should not compare any one of the three with the other. These are great tools which serve a different purpose.
TestNG and JUnit originally come from unit testing background, although they are not exclusively used only for that. You can also mention that in the video to make it clearer.
TestNG is unit testing framework which actually test the script and generate results while Selenium is library which provides Interfaces,methods to automate browsers.

Hi Naveen, way back similar thing happened to me... One interview starts fighting with me when I was asked about BDD... I said I have experience in Cucumber only for BDD methodology... He said Cucumber is BDD my dear in taunting way and you know he was very senior from Panel. I clearly said Cucumber is not BDD. Any framework that follows Given,When,Then approach is BDD and Cucumber is just one of them. End of Discussion and rejected 😂😂😂😂
buddy ,you are making really beginner videos ... please add some fruitful / challenging stuff to your videos...i want this channel to raise its bar although the videos are helpful but they are not covering that much .. please provide things which are like real time hacks for selenium or any other test framework. Hope to see something like this soon
So this is the only video you see out of 600+ videos. And what do you mean by hacks for selenium? There are many amazing concepts and varieties of automation tech have been added in the form of different concepts.
What I understand is web automation needs generic automation framework such as junit, pytest, testng, nunit etc.. this way selenium depends on junit etc.. to fulfill web automation. Is this understanding correct?
imagine being asked this question by an interviewer and then clearing up his/her misconception only to be kicked out from next round of interview *facepalm*
