  • Here is What you need to know about meltdowns? with autism and me.
Autsim/Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a relatively new concept for me only being diagnosed when i was 32. This is the start of my Journey into understanding Autism / Autistic Spectrum Disorder for myself. Carefully looking at each aspect of my life and trying to understand more about it and maybe gain some understanding.
My Journey is personal but I will hope fully get friends and family along with me so we can do it together.
My aim is to understand my conditions and maybe in doing so may be able to help others...
The ultimate goal tho is for myself first and foremost (hope that doesnt sound too selfish, i dont mean it to be).
If you would be so kind as to think about subscribing to me on here and checking me out on twitch.tv I would be so grateful. I am trying my best to make the content more regular.

Hi Neil, hope you are doing ok, it's Victoria aka Niamh from facebook again. Thank you for this video on meltdowns this has gave me amazing insight and knowledge. One of my daughters Brigid has aspergers she is 22 and has terrible meltdowns. It is very frightening for her and us when they happen as she loses control both physically and verbally, she often smashes up a lot of stuff in the house but she just can't help it. Your video is so informative and I think you are amazing to post these personal videos to help others , they will be useful to people with ASD and their family and friends. Again thank you for this and just to say I loved your live stream on facebook a couple of nights ago with Corrine , you guys are so entertaining , take care Neil , love to you ,Corrine and your family xx

Thankyou for you comment. I am so glad it is helping you in some way. I just wish i could reach more people to show them the reality of asd rather than all these nicely edited videos u know. Life is never going to be easy but i want to be able to help and support people going through hard and good times. I do hope these videos reach the right people in time.

When you mentioned people not using common sense and logic it resonated with me on quite a deep level. I am currently really struggling with my mental health and I am scared out of my wits, hoping that being a house husband is something that Is something I am allowed to be instead of a bread winner. Had alot of depression and dark thoughts, feeling that I am not a "man". Thank you for your video's.

Hey thanks for the comment.. i am sure that if a house husband is whats best for you and yours then that should be fine. You cannot be something you are not
