- The TALBOTS Trunk Show showcased great colors for Fall. Gone are the days of dark, muted colors for Fall and Winter. Our wardrobes can be bright and fun year round. So, pull out summer pieces that you and incorporate it into your Fall wardrobe and use as layering pieces or just as an accent.
Coordinating a new look can be made easier when you focus on those pieces that are similar in style. If you have a skirt or pair of pants that you love wearing because they just fit well and you look good in them, mix those with a few pieces that share a common color, style or detail.
Mixing and Matching is not just about color, it is also the style, shape, the accessories and the details.

I like Talbots for the classic style. Stores are selected for trunk shows and they are typically held in Spring and Fall. Customers are notified of the upcoming event dates. So happy you found me. Thanks for subscribing and please share.

Hello. Thank you for subscribing. My Mom was a First Lady☺️. Consider:
FIT - is more important than size. Try a size 16 or a L top. You may be able to wear a smaller size under a blazer. Also, a size up may work and you can have it tailored. At thrift prices and for a great piece that you may have for a long time, tailoring is worth it. Sizes are so varied, so a smaller or larger size may create some opportunities. Same for dresses. If the bust works, a smaller size with a flared bottom may be an option.
BLAZERS - They are so versatile and can typically be worn year round depending on the content. The perfect blazer may be part of a suit and you may not need the bottom. The suit price may be worth it for the right blazer.
SCARVES - If you like them, buy several (some with prints). They will come in handy. Easy way to add a little something to the most basic outfit or draped across your handbag.
HANDBAGS -(especially at consignment stores) can make a look. So many unique opportunities, especially if white or black is the look of the day.

Angela, I have a flower bow that color. In fact I have a box of different colored bows. I lovevusung them to add interest. I have been coordinating my outfits for years. When I was working loud put together my looks the night before. Jewelry, handbag and hosiery. I would even try everyday on to make sure it looked the way I imagined it would look. I worked in an 0ffice with a dress code (which they don't have so much of nowadays). This was a great time saver for me because I could get up and get dress very quickly knowing that my outfit was put together. Your videos are on point. I even do it now for Sunday worship service. Keep up your wonderful videos.

People ask me where I shop and I tell them exactly what you said in one of your videos. I shop everywhere and I have always shopped everywhere. I have some high end pieces from a boutique (I got on sale) and some pieces I got from the Goodwill.

Hello Joanne. Glad that you are here. I've been a care giver before with my Mom and Dad, so I completely understand the need for comfort and style.
Consider these options:
KNIT DRESSES (long or knee length) They are comfortable, easy to care for and you can easily add a jacket for Dr. appointments or running errands. You can add a flat or a low heeled boot for comfort.
PALAZZO PANTS - They come in multiple colors and prints. No ironing and great for running out and for lounging too. Can be worn with flats or heels. They can often run long, so you may need to hem or try Petites for a shorter option.
JOGGING SETS
They offer warmth and can be easy mix and match options. I would start with black, camel, navy, off white, and your favorite color. You can switch those up all kinds of ways, add a coat or jacket and your flats or sneakers. You can also add scarves in prints for additional details.
