I think Hasblow should have made an entire Throne room diorama set. That would be cool. Lol. I agree on your take on the figure itself. It looks more like ROTS likeness, at least to me.
I wonder if it would be better to kit bash an articulated RotJ Luke and hide the body under all the soft goods so you can have the articulation that's needed for the figure.
Awesome freebie! They are everywhere now! You can pick it up on eBay for about 55-80 bucks. I have seen it at 56 and 10 to ship. That is really good for this!, ya the retail price is better but not bad at all on the 2nd market. I seen one at a flea market by my house for $70 so it is affordable and if you just want the figure it’s about 20 on eBay
I'm actually pretty happy with this version as is. I don't know what else they could do the make the figure that much better and would be happy with this version as the definitive emperor in 3.75". The new headsculpt is fantastic and the plastic hood actually blends really well with the cloth goods. The cloak could perhaps be a little less baggy especially on the sleeves, but as far as rereleased parts go, this actually works very well for who its supposed to represent. The figure i really wish they had revisited completely is Endor Leia: an amazing new headsculpt, but the legs on the figure are way too short!!!
Wow wow wow another fantastic video from Victoria cantina on star wars figures collections thank s for the video clip of star wars emperor 👽👽👽May the 4 th be with you Victoria 100% awesome video
100% Agree about this Emperor... In the words of Luke Skywalker.. "WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK"... it's Pretty Sad when the 5 POA is the Better Figure of the Two ...🙄
I think I like the screaming head more because we’ve gotten the normal head a bunch before and they will probably keep releasing it. We’ll probably get all the heads when they get to the throne room eventually when they realize what people want. Do you think we’ll get a rereleased vintage rancor for the 40th anniversary? I honestly thought they would show a Jabba as the first tier for the black series rancor and then follow that up with some palace characters and maybe a bone for Luke. Instead, we got another gamorrean and some cardboard. I got excited for a second because I thought it was a plastic 3d backdrop but then I saw it was cardboard. I hope they add 7 more tiers or redo the first two tiers because I really want that rancor but I don’t think it’ll get funded.
Both head-sculpts to me look more RotS rather than RotJ, but that might just be me...And that hairline, tho...Wow that looks kinda cheap XD I'm happy to stick with my TPM Darth Sidious ^^ Fab review, though! ^^ Great to see this in-depth, because even though I'm not really interested in having it, 'tis still good to see \^^/
Great in depth review Victoria! I believe most people (me included) will buy it to display it like in 2:50. We can have it in Europe too thankfully.

I normally don't care about the packaging but that retro kenner style box looked great.

Would have made more sense to have two heads included in both releases
Not from a business standpoint, but yes, would have been nice for collectors.

I wouldn't expect much from the tiers. They're never going to do anything that requires expensive new tooling like figures and such.
This was a pretty cool review.
i got this set on the hasbro website right when it was released.. I knew it would be hard to get if I didnt jump at it.
AWESOME PIECE!
👍👍

Hey it’s better than the Emperor figure I bought in 1983.
Soft goods doesn't seem to work for this figure. The 5 poa version in the Sith multi pack is my favorite.
Soon the Rebellion will be crushed... And young Skywalker will be one of us.
A lovely set but for the price I can’t justify it.
I don't think $30 is too terrible when you consider the figure already costs $14 by itself.
@@VictoriasCantina in my part of europe the figure is 70 $
Why do the call it “emperors throne room” if it’s just a wall and a chair so stupid
The whole diorama is kind of the Emperor's Throne Room I guess.
