The issue I am having is that I am using a one page site and have set up anchor points and my navigation is linking to these points on the page, when I click the navigation nothing happens and the menu remains. I've tried using a menu and buttons with the same outcome. Any idea?

it was almost the same result in my case, but i have elementor pro 3.26.1 and to have the correct menu i had to delete te wordpress menu from the header and use only the pop up now 😁

Make sure you're using the added bars icon and not the default Elementor nav menu icon. To hide the default nav menu, change the nav menu's Responsive settings under the Advanced tab.

There ia issue with elementor popup menus.. They are not properly fixed & when se tried to scroll they also move.. So thats looks ugly

hello , the default menu of the mobile , how did you hide it !!!!!!
Under the default menu's Advanced tab > Responsive. Then set to hide on mobile or whichever screen size breakpoint you want to hide it on.

Not work in responsive mode, it's still look hamburger bar in mobile:(
