    Highly innovative method of teaching Ser vs Estar. Please consider doing the same for Por vs Para and Que vs Cual. Those would also be excellent I'm sure. Gracias amigo!

    10/10... You are so right. Grammar is definitely important Rocky, but it's more repetition and exposure. After a while, you know what's right because it sounds and feels right for lack of a better description. Keep the videos coming!

    😊Practice activity is essential for better retention which is commonly disregraded in other videos. Nonetheless, still very helpful and will continue watching them.🤗

    got 3 wrong, and I am very much a beginner! It helped to know the difference in why we use each! I am still struggling with trying to know the difference of which conjugrated verb to use or how to identify which one to use from the sentence...the grammer is hard to remeber even in English my first language. So, it is hard to identify grammer rules in another language! However, I like that you do not focus on that so much and it helps to learn listening and speaking beacuse that is the hardest part, and grammer doesn't help unless I am reading it!

    It was helpful. I did well. I read an expression or tip in the comments of another YT video on this subject and it really helped me. It goes "how you feel and where you are remember to use estar" Try that and see if it doesn't help u differentiate better. It helped me a lot!

    Here's the deal. I was raised in a Puerto Rican household and my mom always spoke to me in spanish but I answered in english. I have tried practically every mode of learning for years, but nothing fits and I don't progress. So I found you as I wanted to try again since I don't understand how ser and estar function. So here's what happens. I take the test and I blurt out automatically the right answer because I know how it is supposed to sound, but when I try to think about the rule, I translate at a turtles pace and with great doubt and often wrong. Do you have any ideas about how to unwrap my brai and rewire it? I subscribed and liked. Thank you

    I missed 2! The concept has been hard for me and I typically seem to figure out the correct word just by sound. (Maybe because of all my listening practice?) Your explanations are helpful, though. The format for this video was really good, also, so easy to follow along.

      Speak Spanish Faster another commenter mentioned Por vs Para and I second that suggestion. Also when to use preterite vs imperfect, do you think it will just take lots of listening practice to get the patterns down?

  • @kevinthomas2470
    @kevinthomas2470 Год назад

    Las clases de discutir son buenas y muy utiles, pero.... for non native speakers like myself, how would we learn the difference between ser and estar, desde vs hace, por vs para, esto vs eso vs aquello without studying grammar. Grammar can be taught in the context of conversation but it has to be addressed directly. Just thought of another problem area for us that has to be studied: the reflexive verbs and the indirect and direct object pronouns. No way someone will learn that through conversation alone.
