- This car is a very dirty car from a smoker owner and the use of the years, in this video I show a deep cleaning of the interior, a lot of dirt and stains on the upholstery. I disassemble seats, carpet and plastics to clean them thoroughly. I also teach how to remove scratches from plastics and rejuvenate headlights.

Yes, the kit works, but you have to sand well and then protect the headlight with some varnish or wax

It depends on the city where you live (the sun) and if the car lives on the street or garage, but the ones I have made have been perfect for more than 1 year

What was the process to clean the headlight, I don't know what you used
First the headlight is sanded and then this product is applied, you can find it online under the name "steam kit headlights"

The tool I use is an adapter for the polisher called "Shine Mate MPK-3"

Hi just wondering what products do you use on the plastic I front of the Speedo (if you share your product/method) I have loads of scratches as not cleaned it properly
I use this "shine mate MPK-3" machine with the polishes ,"menzerna 400 and menzerna 2500", in case of not being able to obtain a machine you can do it by hand with "flexipad tri foam" the result will not be so good but you will get a good improvement

From what I read doing that acetone stuff is gonna shorten the headlight life and give it stress cracks after a while
I have been using it for a couple of years and after 1 year the headlights are still good and do not crack, it is true that by not wearing varnish, they will get bad at some point

Esa máquina usa un liquido llamado "acetona liquida o polimero liquido, que al calentarse, se evapora y se adhiere al plástico del faro

And what are your thoughts on steam cleaning?
I use "Labocosmetica Ductile" it is pH Neutral and it does not harm plastic or fabric, maybe you have to use a dilution a little higher than the one recommended by the manufacturer, but it works very well.
Steam cleaning is very good as long as you use it properly, since a very strong steam can damage some types of plastics, such as buttons that are plastic or are covered with a delicate material.

tienes problemas con algún coche al quitar la batería para poder quitar el asiento? me refiero a que deje algún aviso en el cuadro y solo se pueda quitar con maquina o en la casa
De momento no hemos tenido ningun problema, para que eso no pase asegurate bien de cuando vuelvas a conectar los asientos, que los conectores esten bien conectados, y nunca metas la llave o intentes arrancar sin los asientos conectados.

Were you able to get the smell out?
After finishing the cleaning, I put an ozone session and it improved a lot, but the smell was not eliminated 100%, more ozone sessions will be needed

Costs are dependent on the level of valeting you want for your car, size (usually 4x4, MPV valeting/detailing is more expensive) and the country you are in.

It is a vapor acetone, first it is sanded and then the liquid steam is used to restore the plastic of the lighthouse

Just a heads everybody colored snow foam could stain your interior if it happens to drip from the door jambs onto the seats or carpet. Rinse car very good if using colored snow foam.
Yes, the colored foam uses a dye that can stain, but that's why I wash the body well and make sure not to use too much pressure near the windows so that no water gets inside
