Something I just found out while making a marinade for dried Uhu jerky.... I mixed Kim Chee base, Oyster Sauce, Little bit sesame oil, chopped red onions, chopped green onions, little bit inamona, little bit Hawaiian salt and tobiko... Uhu poke is AKSHUN 🤙🏾

I no think malu is a hybrid breed I think they are another species, sidespot goatfish I think they call um. But you only seen 1 other malu before? I seen choke before where I live(Westside O'ahu). Maybe they get less abundant going up the island chain to BI?
