I love this pattern!! Thank you for tying it. To everyone who asks Davie to tie specific patterns, thank you for your unselfishness. Together you are saving my sanity.
Great tying of this fly as always David if we only could get a bit of rain to give us a chance to fish this little beautiful fly as all ours rivers and lakes are crying out for some rain over here in Ireland 🇮🇪 your flies & the tying of these fantastic flies are time's less thanks again David
We are getting used to this wonderfull tying. Maybe you know, maybe you don't, but you are really a great inspiration. I honestly must say I'm not very creative, so in my tying I'm dependent on what other people make. You Davie are my inspiration. Thanks a lot for the work you're doing and keep tying these wonderfull flies. As always tight lines 🎣 from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.
Off topic a little Davie. I caught one of your videos from a year ago but! You had no gray hair and I had to look twice to make sure it was you. Then I remembered that I think you mentioned awhile back you I think, said you had digitalized some older videos? I was in Scotland in 1985, I wish I had known of you then! Cheers!
It’s a great pattern, I usually tie three versions. One with a Biot abdomen , one with a green bead for the thorax, and one dubbed . Very effective usually sizes 22 to 14 . Thanks for the video
That’s a very good looking emerger. Is that dubbing made of artificial or natural fibers? It looks effective for making a nice, thin noodle. I’m looking for replacements for my old, soon-to-run-out Superfine Antron dubbing. I particularly like it for situations where I don’t want to make the fly sink like wool or rabbit fur dubbing would.
Superb, as ever sir. You said in a recent video that you'd came across sheets of closed cell foam in Ayr, where did you get this Davie, if you don't mind? much appreciated.

Wonderful. You are a blessing to us all. With our Professors. McPhail and Ord Clarke, it's like attending an Oxford college for a fly dressing degree.

Once again , another great pattern for us to tie. Keep them coming Davie.
Thanks for that. I really got into emerger fishing last year. It will do well down here in Australia.

A lovely fly thanks Davie. I’ll tie a few. All fishing suspended here until further notice due to the extreme heat (30degC)

Excellent 👌
Lovely!!!!!
Love this pattern
That’s one heck of a nice looking fly Davie. CDC bubbles seem to make the fly float forever. Could you use Superfine for the body material? Thanks

Hi Greg,
I bought the foam from The Range over at the Heathfield Shopping Park, I'm glad you liked the fly..
