PTX was "supposed" to cover the Cher tune on " The Sing-Off " , where the got their start. They said that they were having difficulties with their arrangement (tempo) and elected to change it up and do " Video Killed the Radio Star " by The Buggles.

This was another great reaction! They recently performed seasons of Love off their last xmas album for the 4th of July on PBS. Kirstin really slays as do they all. Also you should really check out their singoff run! Youbguys will love it.

You guys are so much fun If you guys know the wizard of OZ. I really really think you should react to PTX collab with Toddrick Hall on the Wizard of Ahhs. They brilliantly mash up songs to tell the story. and the costuming etc is great. Kristies plays Dorthy, the bad witch and the good witch. It’s creativity at its finest
There is a side by side comparison video. I did all my clubbing in the late 80s But I was surprised how many I remember once I heard the original version. The Cher effect is she was the 1st one to use autotune to give her voice distinctive sound. Then it got bastardize into correcting for pitch And making Singers Who do not have a lot of talent sound good
Actually, I have found out that there are TWO albums of original music they are "Pentatonix" and "The Lucky Ones". Oh, By the way with this talented group of individuals If they cannot do It live, they won't do it in the studio.
