I really hate galaxy of heroes getting a credit for what essentially is a star forge robe from KotOR with an added hood and mask.
Yep I agree. Credit should have gone to kotor. I was also bummed out that they aren’t 6 inch figures. The best ones are the 6 inch black series. The small HK doesn’t pair very well with other 6 inch figures.

@@jaketheman5678they’re the best. They have much better detail than their smaller counterparts, and usually have better joint movements as well.
If I was the marketing director of Hasbro, I would have paired Jedi Revan with a new Darth Malak sculpt, but that's just me. this was a top notch review Bossk, then again your videos are always top notch.

I was hoping that this was out soon as I missed out on the HK BAD as so many others did. The JK Revan is very cool to get. I love the original Revan for all it was but this update has been sorely needed for years. Very impressed. Great review as per!
This set would be cool to collect loose, but given both Jedi Knight Revan and HK-47 are both in Knights of the Old Republic, it doesn’t make sense why they wouldn’t reflect that on the card. KOTOR in TVC is a drum fans have been playing for years to get. Galaxy of Heroes isn’t really fogure worthy. Still great review. May pick this up for loose collection.
Yeah, that baffles me, too.
They can't release Jedi Revan under the KOTOR logo because this version of the armor (with helmet and hood) doesn't appear in the base game, it was added as a mod by the community. The in-game Jedi version of this armor is called the Starforge robe and was without a helmet.

Good review. Weird that it was released under the galaxy of heroes banner and we may get more under it too. Its also irinic that the droid is a build a droid when jedi revan built him in the sw universe so its a nice nod to that.
I know this Revan Jedi version is just an opportunity for a repaint, but it doesn't really match the card back image - I think that's a bit of a shame to be honest. Even dropping that front plastic skirt piece and doing a new belt would've helped make it more media accurate.

Great video,BOSSK! Your videos are so well put together. Since I've cut wat back on Star Wars toys. Your videos help me decide what 2 buy. I definitely want 2 of each of the 2-packs so I can have a sealed one and a set opened with the cards in star cases. it's just the Ross and Ollie's getting them a few months later for $6.99-$9.99. I can wait to not pay full price. Of course, you can't do that with the Hasbro Pulse exclusives and the HASLabs.Anyways, thanks for taking the time to make these videos.I also went to 3rd party on Transformers. The quality is wwaaaayyy better. Then the hasbro line. with a few exceptions.

I just don’t get why it’s 40 bucks. 20 a figure is a black series price and they’re ludicrous to credit Galaxy of Heroes even though they created neither of the figures in the pack.
It’s because they can make money off of Galaxy Of Heroes. Scummy af.

Great looking figure!!! I dont know to to much about Raven... but my question is when he was a Jedi he wore a helmet????? That's weird+?!? Keep up the great work BB.... love the content 👌
If I remember correctly, Revan put on the helmet shortly before leaving the Jedi Order and swore to never take it off until the Mandalorian War was over. Afterwards, he did take it off but is still his go-to

Hey Tim, another good review. I bought it, but mostly for HK-47, I just love this character in KOTOR and also never had the B.A.D. version (those prices are insane); as for that gun, yes is unique for HK, but I dont like it, I have a POTF2 Rebel blaster reserved just for him. As for Revan, I have the 30th Anniversary version, this 2-pack will be my first moder version since I have not bought the other one. Just need the rest of the Ebon Hawk crew, just have Bastila Shan.

I got this two pack on Wednesday, meanwhile still waiting for the Darth Revan version which I would have thought I'd be getting first.
Finally, dark and light side revan! Heres hoping for darth malak and darth Nihilus in the near future!!
HK-50 had the same exact blaster rifke as HK-47. I know, b/c I remember how disappointed I was at the fact he really can't hold it like one would draw a rifle. So dissapointing Hasbro didn't go back & fixed this when they had the chance.
The Jedi knight raven they can use that body for Jedi temple guards
I have the B-A-D version HK-47, and my memory might be faulty, but I think it's a bit darker brown than this version.
Not sure if you've been keeping up but, since they brought back the Titanium Series ships, the quality standard has gone down the drain for both SW and Marvel.
Seriously, it's day and night when you compare the Black Series of the black with colors boxes with the plain black and red boxes.
And now that they come in a straight up box, it has only gotten worse.
It saddens me that the 6 inch versions of Malak and Bastila came out in the just box format.
2 basic figures with one accessory each. While I have zero complaints with that on its own, the price that I am seeing for these seems high, is it for the packaging lol?

Where do people find these? Haven't seen either this set or the single carded Darth Revan figure at any stores around here. And people are already scalping them for double the retail price on Ebay.
I think the reason HK is 305 and jedi Revan is 306 is because, canonically, HK is a character before Revan, and is why Darth Revan is VC 301

i could care less about the Revan even though I love him. have both in the black series. But that HK-47 on cardback is GRAIL item for me. HK was always my favorite droid since playing KOTOR 1 over a decade ago! im so thrilled to have the slayer of meatbags!
I'll eat my shoes if there is a single person in the world who prefers a Galaxy of Heroes over a Knights of the Old Republic cardback.
Would have been nice HK-47 had a head window to make his eyes glow, the way the Dark Troopers do
I did buy one set of these to keep as a carded collector, but definitely don’t need a second set because I will not be doing any displays with EU characters. But I do like the 2 pack concept you suggested for 2-1B and FX-7. It would also work great for ANH Pilots & their astromech. Luke\R2 for example. Hasbro could do an entire series of them.

Btw, GoH is a good game. I've played it for 8yrs now & it still offers up fun. It is a headscratcher as to why they chose this header. Guessing they're gonna release some sort of single-carded one w/ a KotoR header
This one's an easy pass for me, never played the game and I thought the new Darth Revan was pretty disappointing when I got him in hand. He looks nice butdoesn't pose well at all; the elbows don't bend far enough and the stuff round his waist prohibits most leg movements too. It's just as well he has hinged wrists because without them he wouldn't be much more poseable than the old TAC version. Also I absolutely hate this new idea of selling us two repaints in a box for forty quid
The two reasons that made me not buy this two-pack: JK Revan on the cardback is different from the figure we get here, and HK-47 not being on a KotOR card is disappointing. I’m sure this Revan is nice but I don’t have the “Scourge of the Old Republic” in-hands yet.
Out of all the ways they could had finally brought HK47, why like this?
Not only it's under the lame Galaxy Of Heroes Surprise Mechanics Game but as a 3.75 as well, instead of being under KOTOR and as a glorious 6 inch.
I would had much preferred HK47 being bundled with T3M4 than this, and of course as a 6 inch.
Sadly, I've noticed that a lot of good figures dropped as a 3.75. Unless the figures were meant to go in a vehicle like Antoc and his astromech (which I don't know why it was sold separately) for his X Wing and Din with Grogu for the Modified N-1, that format should no longer exist.
They don't cost nowhere near as much as when they were the only format before Disney bought the franchise to justify their existence.
However, I'm willing to let it slide if Hasbro starts putting out vehicles for 3.75 figures like in the good old days.
Galaxy of Heroes logo and old HK sculpt makes it sad
I find it funny that some people are butt hurt with the Galaxy of Heroes packaging. The Black Series was a Gaming Greats with the Galaxy of Heroes logo on it. So Hasbro matched it.
wasted potential for hk not sure why they didn't make an new mold for him.
Revan was the only reason i got this set vut that droid is a joke foe thw price to reuse a basic figure like that is insulting. The articulation should have been updated.
I don’t understand why everybody seems fine with these cheap repaints! Hasbro charges $17 or more in this case, per figure, but you’re only reused sculpts??? And once again,,, I HATE plastic hoods! But of course , I still bought them, and they ARE a nice addition to my collection, lol
But plastic hoods are so much better than soft goods hoods. Plastic hood actually sit properly on the figure and keep the correct shape, unlike soft goods hoods. Also, I'm perfectly fine with the HK-47 figure being a repaint of the B-A-D one because of how good that sculpt already was.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 I would agree with you about the hoods,,, until they came out with Luke “light cruiser”. That hood is perfect. And I get it that anyone who wanted the B A F hk-47 now has it, but if you look at the card back photo, hk has a lot of sharp and squared edges, where the figure sculpt has none. Believe me, I still bought it and like it!

HK-47 is just not good and jedi Revan should've been without a mask or at least had a swapable head piece or should have been paired up with jedi malak - that way it would sell like hot cake
wow, lazy as hell from hasbro, no updates articulation on HK and the logo not being Kotor is terrible
