What’s that build you were using at the end?
I personally think the game is pretty fun. It has a calming twang to it that mixes well with the action that also takes place. There's also plenty to do, so I'm happy.
This game feels way more alive than sea or thieves
The game is good and fun for what it is, could of been better but it’s everything ubi said it would be.
Its very bad for what it is, which is a $70 title. It would have been good and fun for $30.

This is a $20 game MAX and even then SoT is just superior is every single way.
SUPERIOR in what way? Hit reg? Food reg? Hackers? Sloop being slower against wind? 15 min sail times. Glitched quests? Map Table desync? I mean Skull and Bones isn't perfect but SoT is far from Superior.
At least Sea of Thieves feels like an actual game where you can interact with players, unlike Skull and Bones whereas you have to do specific quests to engage with people, and with the world also feeling very limited. Sea of Thieves is only $20 and is way better than that waste of $70@@MrB1gPants
@Jmoney10000 There is plenty of interaction with players in SnB. The only caveat is you have to enter into PVP to get that interaction. You can make the argument that SoT has more organic interactions. But it's a dying game, and the player base is dwindling so those interactions are few.
@Jmoney10000 in 2018 SoT was released at 40 dollars without a battle pass. 6 years later it's 20 dollars or free with game pass. 70 is a steep price for SnB but I believe that includes the seasonal content. Ironically, SoT players complain about 70 dollar game, yet spend 20 on a battle pass every season and more on cosmetics every update.
When sot was release back in 2018 there was no content to be seen and the game is in such state rn, I would not speak if I was you, skull and bones is hella fun and actually well optimized 🤷♂️

Knew this game was gonna be a flop the minute they said there’s no hand to hand combat or playable ship boarding and ofc some streamers are still gonna play the dogshit. Charlie’s review was spot on and is the only valid review that matters.
It was always meant to be a naval combat game. You dont understand the game at all yet you hop on the bandwagon of hate because majority of gamers cant form an objective opinion these days. The game isnt trying to be black flag or SoT. A single review (if you wanna call it that), that literally all he talks about is no boarding and thats it, nothing else, is the only one that's valid? the concept of higher level ships winning pvp makes this game worthless. sea of thieves even playing field making it all about skills will always be better than different level pvp
The game doesn’t really play like that since you can max out your ship level and be able to compete pretty quickly. And once it’s maxed, the playing field is totally even.
Also SOT isn’t really an even playing field because of the different ship/crew sizes
Stop comparing skull and bones to other games. It’s not blackflag it’s not SOT
I think it’s a fun game. PvP is really fun and there is tons of different weapons to try out.
I really wish I could explore the island on foot and move on my ship that would make this game so much better.
And It’s way too expensive considering they expect me to buy a battle pass soon …
Even my 10 year old son thinks this game is ridiculous and belongs on mobile......
